I know this isn't the modding thread, but I'd really like to recommend New Vegas Bounties. It's a pretty fun mod that basically has you go around and kill a bunch of people that may or may not be thinly veiled pop culture references. The ending is a bit jarring, but it's a fun quest with a bunch of amazing rewards throughout.

The revolver is loving insane. Combined with the signature weapons mod this is definitely going to break the game in a rather fun way.

I used to use it, I always thought the weapons were a bit overpowered. On the other hand, I might have to use it again, as I can't afford GRA, and I needs me new weapons to mess with.

The weapons are definitely a bit on the overpowered side of things. A lot of the bounties are rather difficult, though. Plus you get a pretty sweet costume from one of them.

"Confirmed Bachelor" is a euphemism for being gay. Take a closer look at the perk icon.

Finished Hungry Hearts, I thought it was alright, I loved the native american setting it came up with. I really does fit in with the Western feeling of the normal game. Eventually I got to go back to get the rest of the survival caches. Dead Money is the one I really want to do.

Speaking of which, I cracked up that with the Black Widow Perk You can sleep with Benny and Kill him afterwards. I normally go up to the Presidential suite and fight through the ambush he set up.

Unless you're going to focus on any of the particular skills, it never hurts to get lockpick/science/speech to at least 50. With the perk that doubles book bonuses and a +5 shirt to a particular skills, you can check your way through hard locks/PCs/speech checks and normal/medium locks without needing anything else.

Hey sometimes your bro has a hard day and needs to relax. The bro thing to do is to oil him up and massage his tense muscles until he's pliant all over. Nothing gay about that.

There's a lot of little random lockers and safes and stuff that you can only do with lockpick. I guess the major stuff you can do with either, but it's fun to find extra loot. When I look at my game stats, I have way more uses of lockpick than science, and I tagged both.

I don't know if you need to have a "Tag these 3 skills exactly" section but you could mention that by far the most popular combos include Speech, Science, Lockpick, Repair, or a weapon skill. Which of those they want to focus on is personal preference.

I thought this was a reference to the spa assassination in The Godfather where Mo Greene gets it while getting a massage. I figured it meant Hardcore fellow, willing to knife a man while he was getting a massage with just a towel over his buttocks.

But I have 100+ bobby pins. The only time I needed to raise lockpick was when it said "Grr you aren't level 75 in lockpick so you might as well give up and go home". Then I'm like "Fine whatever next level I'll dump 15 points into it".

What SPECIAL, traits, skills and perks should I invest in?
There really aren't any useless SPECIAL, traits, or skills. There are some useless perks, but you should be able to spot them. If you are unsure, post in this thread.

For SPECIAL, it might be a good idea to invest in intelligence, so that you get more precious skill points as you level up.

For traits, well, it's up to you. They're not useful, but nor are they useless. All traits add something at the cost of something else. You don't have to choose any of them, but the most popular trait is Wild Wasteland.

As for skills, the most popular among goons are speech, science or lockpick, and some offensive trait such as guns. Repair is extremely useful as well, as it repairs your weapons and saves you money.

However, the game is really built to play on how you want, rather than throwing in a bunch of useless skills and a few good ones. For example, if you want to have a smooth tongue and get past some difficult situations without pulling a trigger, then putting your points into Lockpick would not be suiting for that style of play. (Put it in Speech :ssh:)

Here is what I have so far. Tell me what you guys think should be changed.

Very beginning of Lonesome Road. Once you unlock ED-E the first thing he does is open up a commissary. You can scavenge the immediate area for a couple of Arc Welders and Nail Guns which should sell for enough for you to buy both the gear + helmet. I think there's a locker somewhere further in the facility you're in where you can just pick one up but I got to a point where I had to deal with a number of security robots which I had nothing to kill with and I wasn't going to wait half an hour for ED-E to slowly kill them between going unconscious.

PS: Lonesome Road's ED-E doesn't follow out to the Mojave :smith: (but you can pick up his first upgrade aka repair weapon once a day so when you fix and get ED-E he'll have it)

All my bullets seem to be going down and to the right of where I'm shooting. They always hit towards the bottom right area of my cross hair. At first I just thought it was only my Survivalist's Rifle, but now I see that all my guns are doing this. It isn't too terrible because in most firefights I've tested so far, my gun is hitting outside of vats. I can shoot at a dead body, a tin can, or even a wall; however, and miss completely and hit whatever is down and to the right of what I'm aiming at. Then I aim a little bit up and to the left, and behold, I hit stuff.

Anyone know what could be causing this? It happens in first person. Maybe I'm just being weird and it's been this way all along. I mean it has to have been. Nothing has really changed except updating AG supplementary weapons mod. That couldn't affect my aim on all my guns. Anyone have any similar problem to this?
