Backstabbing enemies with the morningstar lagged up a bit every time they did it. Doesn't seem to be a problem with other weapontypes seen so far, so it might just be that specific one for whatever reason.

Almost Smart posted:Both versions apparently take framerate hits when there's a lot going on. The earlier player said she had about five or six cases of lag in her entire first playthrough on the ps3, and that it seemed slightly more common on the 360. Doesn't really seem to happen alarmingly often regardless at least in the early game.

Because I saw the same thing on VXDS210's stream when he dropped down to fight the hydra. I think it's because of the waterfall/running water.

Darth Windu posted:The biggest mistake in this game so far, that I can see, is that it takes forever to get an item that allows you to leave messages on the ground. I believe Samurai Sanders said he got fifteen or so hours in before he found it. That is absolutely ridiculous. I saw a guy in a stream get it really early. Its on the way to the first belltower. There is a set of stairs that's hidden by barrels, down it is a merchant that will set it too you for a few thousand souls.

The current rumor is it allows the Future Pygmy to regain his memories. Every gift aside from the Master Key can be found or purchased throughout the game. Note: The Tiny Being's Ring gift has a badly translated description that alludes to it being a HP regeneration ring when all it does is add +30 to max HP.

Welp, changing my initial gift selection. Hope there's an HP regen ring somewhere though. The move they pull with that one ring is hysterical though, I cannot wait to see people find it.

Gyoru posted:1. No. The only way to get a Master Key is by starting as a Thief or choosing it as a starting gift during character creation. Choosing it as a gift as a Thief will give you 2 Master Keys. The Master Key is permanent and isn't consumed when opening locks. So are there any doors/hidden fun stuff that requires the master key or do all the locked doors have a corresponding key somewhere? Agnostic watermelon posted:2- Does the pendant really have no purpose? I think I actually caught the spoiler for this one by accident, so I think I'll try to share. Apparently you can trade it to this game's version of sparkly the crow for an item of some sort.

The slowdown is in both versions of the game. Apparently the game is something like 3.7gb so no compression. There might be some issues but I doubt they'll be major. The PS3 version has a 270,000 person lead in player base though. I've had this pre-ordered for the 360 since May. They could tell me it only runs in black and white, I'm just excited to slay and be slain. http://goo.gl/7Lt5E I'm going to click everyone's stupid links. Let's hope this does SOMETHING.
