Notch should re-introduce Endermen stealing blocks, but now it'll just be in retaliation for players loving up blocks even worse in the Ender. Who is the real monster?!

Sup goons, me and my friends just got into Minecraft and are looking to buy a server. We're gunna go with something from Akliz per recommendation of the OP. Went to go check out and it offers tacking on a dedicated IP address for $1.50/mo. What will we have to do to connect to the server if we forgo this extra charge? We're all new to this, "owning a server" thing.

One would just eat dirt, one would eat organic stuff and the last one would eat everything. Stone, dirt, sand... Didn't matter, everything would go. It would make a neat challenge map, perhaps. Or a bitching Yogscast ModSpotlight, I guess. Like maybe 1/10 Endermen spawn holding the Goo, and once they plant it it will come to life. You would have to keep hopping from continent to another if you wanted to live in normal places. For a night or two.

Grey Goo would be awesome for the anal-retentive folks like me who, having realized that underground patches of dirt tend to hide additional caves / resources, cannot abide them existing in my underground caves.

I've been playing on my friend's PR3 server, and we've all been having issues with stuff we build not being saved. Could be a coincidence but it seems to happen more in the general areas of peoples' beds/spawns. Anyone else run into this?

I haven't played minecraft in nearly a year, and I'm trying to pick it up again but I have some questions: - What's the deal with villages? Are there supposed to be NPCs in them or what? Is there any way to disable them while keeping dungeons? - Have any new dimensions been added past the nether? I've heard bits and pieces about the aether and the ender and such and I'm wondering what the gently caress. - What has been added since 1.2? Just looking at the painterly options I'm seeing options for things like melons, ivy, giant mushrooms, wasteland dirt etc., and again, I'm wondering what the gently caress. Thanks in advance.

Are there plans of bringing the phone versions of minecraft close to the game proper or no? If minecraft portable was getting the adventure mode, I might change my choice in (upgrade) for my new phone. Also, why no ios, minecraft!

Minecraft is written in java, android dev is pretty much java, so easy to port some of the code used in the desktop version. iOS on the other hand... objective c. Thats my guess. They prolly get around making a version for iOS too tho.

It is neat, but nothing to have gotten so excited about. Something like guardians for the Strongholds (since Jeb said they were supposed to have bosses in them) would be have been neat, wonder if they will still do that, one last hurtle to get to the Gate room.

Not ragging on the guy, but it's pretty hilarious that he's adding dragons and another dimension after saying that.
