I'd say the songs we have heard from the preview are more Planisphere lite than Cross.

I think the new Justice style has grown on me. While the songs aren't "bangers", they seem very relaxing to listen to. Although

It's an English cereal that they don't sell in the states (or a lot of other places either) so that might be why.

I still can't stop laughing that dubstep is now so engrained in music that it's being used in cereal adverts.

Actually, one of my homegirls mentioned that it could be found in "Whole Foods" supermarkets sometimes. (I live in the Chicago area) Still, I figured it was UK only when I saw the commercial and read some comments.

Yeah, I bet it'll only be a matter of time before we see like, Dubstep Cinnamon Toast Crunch commercials or somethin'.

Something tells me you came here from Drive. I need to see that movie... But to answer your question, from the same movie too, College seems to do the fake 80s movie soundtrack really well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=86vEuoTUYMc

Just listened to Justices album all the way through and holy hell what a forgettable album. Doesn't really do anything for me. Bummer.

Looking forward to Surkins USA album, although he is recycling a lot of old songs if his teaser sample is any indicator.

e; Listened to the Tycho Cd, it is dope as poo poo. Loved "Coastal Brake" last year, so this CD is definitely amazing.

It's a solid album but the problem is that I can't help comparing it to Cross. It's definitely got its own sound and I think it would be fun as hell to see performed live.

I had the displeasure of covering all 6 of Deadmau5's shows at Roseland Ballroom and the crowd was absolutely pathetic. Tons of tweens dressed in neon taking way too much MDMA, throwing up in garbage cans, passing out left and right. Every time I'm at a show like that (ID Festival comes to mind) I really think that EDM has reached its peak and it is going to come crashing down on itself in a great big ball of neon fire.

I felt like I was at Warped Tour circa 1999.

Philly was a pretty good crowd, not too many candy kids and I didn't see anybody do anything stupid. I'm sure it was happening but wayy better than the garbage crowds I'm used to. Deadmau5 put on quite a show though :)

This is also why I avoid the all ages. It's hard to find that sweet spot between ravers and bros but once in a while I catch a sweet show with an amazing crowd and remember why I do this poo poo in the first place.

It was probably the worst crowd I've ever seen at any show ever. Fratstars starting fights every 10 seconds, people in the front row sitting there just resting on the barracade not even into it, and dudes just slow dancing with their girlfriends during Excision's set like they were at senior prom. And I'm pretty sure I saw a clan of furries with light gloves. I like the college crowd at places like ID Festival where it's a benevolent crowd that are into it but this was another story.

Ahahahha I feel sorry for you man, but I think at that point I'd probably start laughing. I hope you at least enjoyed the music.

I remember being at Pacha NYC and walking downstairs with my girlfriend and we both look at each other and go, "uhhh why does it smell like pussy?" Sometimes I wonder why some people are at these events in the first place.

I want to suggest something, and maybe someone with some programming experience or database knowledge can pick this up.

I want to help make our music discussion more relevant and easier to access. For example, music suggested could be inputted but an individual member or by multiple members and archived. So if someone were reading this discussion on page 110 and saw a post of Justice and liked them, they could access the database and look for all tracks and remixes by Justice and get direct YouTube or Soundcloud links to them.

Would something like this be possible through some google tools/database program etc? Goon only accessible of course, but I think it could be great not just for the electro/house discussion but for NMD. I would be willing to help out in the design/production of such a device, but I would like to help make it easier for people to access music of OUR genre and expand their knowledge of what they may be interested in.
