I think Lawler is playing here in November? I found out recently we have a Funktion One system in one of our top 40 clubs, and according to his tour he is playing there. Although nobody is promoting anything so who knows!! Last time I saw him he played an amazing really dark minimal/techno set. Never seen Martin Buttrich and Luca Bachetti. Luca is doing a loft party here on Halloween, but I decided to go check out Sneak+Luciano+Villalobos instead

Well the first night of Hard Haunted was fun. Everyone that I saw killed it and Annie Mac dropped the new Mr. Oizo and Boys Noize beat, it's pretty ridiculous. The crowd for SBTRKT was pretty entertaining, 1/3 of the crowd just did not get it 1/3 wasn't high enough, but in the process of getting there, and the last third was just so into it. Trip report: Saw Luciano and Villalobos play back to back for 5 hours, probably one of the best shows I've seen in a long time. They pretty much played straight techno the whole night and it was amazing. Villalobos is a very goofy man and seeing him play is actually really amusing. Him and Luciano had a bromance going on at some point, they were hugging each other and holding hands and dancing.... in between dropping some of the craziest mixes I've heard live. Unreal night.
