pretty newbie question, but how do I upload photos I've taken so I can post them here? I just uploaded a livery for an Escort RS to the LLJK garage and want to show off some photos. I'll sell the design or auction the car if somebody wants to tune the thing for me once I finish the rest of the little sponsor decals.

I've got to do the stupid running Michelin man logo which seems impossible with these stupid primitives.

You'll get an option to upload them to your storefront, then goto forzamotorsport.net and click My Forza and login. You'll see your screenshots there and can download them.

SAEG: 57 members; Mostly European time zones.
AFGS: ? members; Mostly Asian/Australian time zones.

The only reason to join GTCC is if you are interested in the GTCC races. But right now the main race is already full up for next week, though I think someone is running a second race each week.

Yeah Phancypants runs his Thursday thing where its considerably less serious than the regular Wednesday GTCC stuff. The premise of the Thursday night races is "If you can't make the car for the spec in less than five minutes its a bad spec."

Edit; I like that we have 37 members, what's stopping us from running 2 lobbies constantly?

AFGS is currently on about 6 whole members, I'm thinking most Aussie peeps either don't know about it or missed my posts.

More than happy to extend it to friends of current members to add numbers. I'm not very active foe the next week, my wife's film festival is on this week so my spare time is nil, still log on to accept user requests though.

I believe the throwing would have more to do with not being able to make a user defined lobby in 3. I know that pretty much killed the game for me.

I don't know what you mean. Forza 3 let you create a lobby with whatever settings you wanted, it just was not public.

Non public lobbies, as in lobbies not run by pubbies. Yeah it's cool that you can create your own public lobbies and there are some goons that run public lobbies. The important bit is that they are run by goons, so annoying pubbies will get kicked. I suppose it shouldn't be said to stay out of public lobbies, but instead to just not play with pubbies. At least not in a controlled environment. Your best bet for good racing is with other goons who enjoy racing, and not demolition derby.

Alright, one last plug before I go to bed. I'm "finished" my Wurst livery for the Ford Sierra RS 500 Cosworth. I ended up making the Wurst, Michelin, Eibach, Ronal and Mobil logos because I didn't like the current storefront selection or not being able to share with the club. I bought a stock Cosworth and set up the livery, there's one in the auction house now (search "lljk" or my GT: WALTSPOORAZTEC) though this is only for real ballers since it's much cheaper to just buy the design rather than a stock rs500 with the livery for several times more, but just pretend it's for charity.

OK so as I see it now:

LLJK: 100 members; Mostly American time zones. Badly in need of trimming
GISH: 92 members; Mostly American time zones.
GTCC: 37 members; Invite only; Mostly only serious racing.
SAEG: 57 members; Mostly European time zones.
AFGS: ~6 members; Mostly Asian/Australian time zones.

I had a few go's at this last night. I felt that B class is where it really shined. The base PI rating was too high in C to add better tires to improve rear grip enough (it's got a really squirrelly back end) and A gave you plenty of room to add lots of grip, or lots of power, but not both. Finding a compromise in A was too difficult for me, either great handling but lacking in power, or plenty of power but a handful on the corner exits. In B it seemed to find a perfect niche of rear-end grip that matched the small weight and power boosts allowed to stay within the class PI.

I didn't try taking it all the way to S class, adding aero, and I didn't try the AWD conversion. Looking on the storefronts, it looks like most of the A-class tunes are AWD conversions. Maybe I'll give that a try. For what it's worth, the Escort RS was much easier to tune and drive, and it's AWD stock.

I bought and tried a few B-class tunes, some of the better ones were easier to drive than mine, but I couldn't set faster times than my tune. I suspect this is more from tuning to my own driving style than the objective quality of the tune. Either way, accept my friend request and I'll send what I've got and you can fool around with it.

Tune sent, thanks for the livery!

I did some more test driving today and I think it's actually a pretty competitive racer in B spec. It drives very similar to a B-specced Merc 190E. Some of the things you may want to tinker with yourself: I like fairly high brake pressure. If you drive without ABS, and find yourself locking up the brakes too much, lower the brake pressure to something more familiar (right now it's set to 110% I think.) Also the wheels I picked are one of the lightest options, so if you don't like them, almost any other set will free up 1 or 2 PI points, which I'd put into a clutch or flywheel upgrade. Let me know any other feedbacks you have, either here, through PMs, or xbox messages and I'll try and address them. I'll also try and clean up my C, A, and make an AWD A class, and maybe an S version and send those just for shits and giggles.
