It's the funny thing about kayfabe and reality. In kayfabe, he's too good to get in mere punching fights with people but in reality, he used to make his riches beating the poo poo out of people in Northern Europe.

Frilled Lizard posted:The Wade Keller interview with X-Pac talks about this too, he says that he's been messed up for a long time and he needs to prove himself before WWE would open the door for another shot (and he understands that, and doesn't blame them at all). He did say that he's cleaned up and doing fairly well right now, and even "cut back on the weed", but he still has a ways to go. When the rehabbing has finally taken he needs to go back and do another 10 years worth just to get rid of 'X-Pac Heat'.

x-pac will never come back to wwe sadly, he has hepatitis c and while 5-6 years ago they would have just been careful not to let him bleed he wouldn't legally be cleared by wwe's doctors.

Still, X-Pac with his head on straight could probably make a solid road agent, or fulfill some other function backstage. He's definitely got a head for the business and I could see Hunter giving him some kind of gig. Say what you will, but Hunter does seem like a guy who tries to help out his friends.
