A very Arcade Edition 2012 to all fighting game goons, regardless of what game you play. Unless it's Smash, in which case gently caress you. May you get many resets, not drop combos and not be screwed over by comeback mechanics until December 21, when The Big Comeback Mechanic will knock us all out.

(It's already 2012 here, figured I'd wish you guys a good year since no one tried to kill me after complaining about Rose endless times in 2011)

The netplay is slightly worse than MBAC caster I think. I think it kicks up the delay more than caster did on certain ping ranges.

The netplay seems random, most people including me we get 4-5fps always like I hooked up 2 computers to each other had 4ms ping and the thing still gets massive slowdown at character select and in game. But sometimes it doesn't for what I can tell absolutely no reason at all. It might eventually get better but for right now the netcode is complete rear end.

I've yet to have anything that evolved beyond single digit FPS. I guess it's all about waiting for a true console port for real netplay. But this will do for now. This will do. :gbsmith:

Also, I've been working on P. Ciel B&Bs, and loving hell, those reverse beat loops are something else. This is the first time I've ever really tried them, since I got into MB waaay after MBACvB was relevant. gently caress the airthrow to rising stab/divekick timing, though.

Each character needs at least two pallet swaps.

Also, instead of a "rounds won" indicator/timer there's a B-ball scoreboard.

According to Victar's Primal Rage FAQ (section 7.4) the June 1996 issue of GamePro confirms that Ellie Rovella of Gilbert, Arizona became enraged when her 11-year-old son bought and played Genesis' Primal Rage, using GamePro's strategy guide to execute Chaos' golden shower/urination fatality.[1] Rovella was so outraged, she not only returned the game, but also launched a grass-roots campaign. Ironically the Super Nintendo version, in which the particular fatality was removed entirely, displaying a "No Cheeze!" symbol (a sign that was generally used to notify the player that he or she had performed an illegal combo) at the top of the screen if it was attempted, was also pulled from the shelves.

Going off what I tried of the demo, it's probably alright if you're playing people close to you. Sadly my only experience was against random Japanese players when I tried the matching thing so it was still pretty laggy. Not single-digit FPS bad though, unless the netcode radically changed in the full version.

Tekken has always been juggle/combo porn since 3 if not earlier than 1.

The old 10-hit juggles were just to show off to people in the first two games. 3 and above made it necessary to learn more appropriate juggles though they still kept the gimmick 10-hit stuff.

Yea, but they make the items too expensive for anyone that isn't a hardcore Tekken player to get (If you tried to customize your dude/dudette in the arcade, expect to pay $15 per card*, and win 200000 matches to pay for a 1.5 million dollar hat). This isn't a big deal on consoles when you farm the horrible story modes Harada shoves down your throat, but in the arcade you made next to nothing win or lose.

I'm pretty sure Super Roulette exists in arcade which makes G collection easier. You average anywhere from 1000-7000G per match you play. Super Roulette can give a max payout of 100000G and min of 2000G unless you hit Lucky

The actual problem with the netplay is that it's horrible at handling lag spikes - if there's a change that causes the client to up the delay buffer, it won't lower it if your connection get better.

If you can avoid lag spikes, it's decent! Still not as good as caster, but it's passable.

I literally had 2 computers, hooked up to each other both with firewalls off screaming at me because of it and the fps on them dropped to like 5-6 frames worse then when I was playing with the guy 2000miles from me. It works for some people and it doesn't work for others it apparently makes no sense why it works for some and not for others I'm getting this from the guys on IRC.
