Yeah, I took Red's rant as a pretty definite sign that Blue is screwing with their minds. If anyone would know Blue could do something like that, and be utterly unimpressed by it, she would.

I wonder if you can only be hurt in the ether if you are still attached to your body. Someone brought up how Jeanne hurt Annie in the ether causing her scratch, thinking that maybe she was an exception for some reason. I guess that is still possible.

I have to say, the expressions are possibly the coolest thing about this chapter. I just love Red's multitudinous faces. I just get the impression that attacks from deadly Gol-Shogegs! (or should that be Gols-Shogeg? unusual pluralisation is fun) are kinda mundane around here. Blue's just actin' out, she does it every week guuuuh.

So it turns out that Annie did name Red after all! Nobody seems to mind. e: also it looks like Blue does have illusion powers or something of the sort, good guess on that

I guess ex-fairies can only be named by humans maybe? Or whoever first calls them by a name? I kinda hope that Annie goes on a naming spree after figuring this out.

So I guess Blue can plant memories, similar to how when you're in a dream and you just "know" something, but when you wake up, you can't believe you were stupid enough to believe something so obviously impossible. Or something. EDIT: Whaa huh?! Dodgeball fucked around with this message at 10:00 on Feb 3, 2012 |

At least the other faeries aren't reacting badly to Annie naming one of them. Blue even seems really impressed with Red and her new name. Although it will be interesting to see how Red feels about her new name (Once she regains her senses). I don't think the text is as clear as I would have liked it.

I guess they don't hang around normal humans much (at least not ones who don't know to avoid it), if they haven't all gotten names already. It'd take minutes for any normal human to nickname someone without a name.

Phew! Gunnerkrigg really is one of the best comics ever, it's the little things, like Red's face in those two panels. Identical but two separate drawings, there's no lazing around in this comic.

I have no idea if any of these are appropriate for comics, reputable, or otherwise non-useless, but my search turned up Indiegogo, Rockethub, Crowdfunder, Ulule, Wefund, and Wedidthis.
