Motorbike drifting* is by far the coolest thing I'll never do. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to be able to but I don't think I'll ever have the skill to do it consistently without killing myself.

Yeah gently caress the on season. I'm going in late september or early november. Still nice enough to not have to bundle up, no leaves on the ground, but all the snowbirds / southerners have migrated south for winter already.

Yea I got that. It's not limited to Florida unfortunately. That picture might as well be VirginiaBeach_squid.jpg

They also appear to be "darksiders" with idiot car tyres on. That might also have something to do with the whole can't get through a gentle corner thing.

race tires on road are a great idea, ask me!

What could you possibly need a tyre that big for except possibly drag racing?

That's a BMW C1 mysteriously appearing in the right of the frame. No doubt ridden by the dark lord himself.

This video occurs right outside my friend's apartment complex. I laughed out loud because it's in a lovely part of a lovely state (Connecticut).

Connecticut is great! There are quite a few things you can do when you're in CT. You can go to Rhode Island, you can go to Massachusetts, you can even get to New York from Connecticut.

Someone got you a obnoxiously racist av.
The summer riding in CT isn't bad since it never gets very warm, and the scenery can be pleasant. But yeah, most of the time the best things to do involve going somewhere else.

Yeah, it figures. It says a lot when the staff at the school I'm interning at, generally don't have high opinions of the state and don't consider themselves true "Connecticutians" despite having lived/worked here for 20+ years.

Oh come on man, you've got the Mystic Aquarium, the Nathan Hale Schoolhouse, the Nautilus Museum, the...aw hell, you can't even fill up an afternoon in that state. It is the cradle of the handgun industry, and I think this was because of local demand for quick suicide.

The Mystic Aquarium is really nice, I'll give you that. And, I imagine CT would be a fun place to just explore on two wheels. It's got some gorgeous scenic towns, and hopefully there are some twisty roads in there somwhere.

I just came back to Connecticut after having lived in France for a few months, ask me how I like the state. loving awful. Born and raised and can't wait to get out.

If you see a red SV650 in the southeast part of the state riding in freezing temperatures that's me. At least the roads are decent if you don't mind taking random side streets - usually there's good stuff tucked away.

Born and raised in Connecticut. I've been in California and Arizona for 15 years and I'm actively looking for a job in CT to move back. I've got a family now and there is night and day difference in the culture and people out West and I can't wait to get the gently caress out of here.

But I can't remember off-hand. Had them from a while ago when I was studying for the course and forgot to post them.
