Motorbike drifting* is by far the coolest thing I'll never do. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to be able to but I don't think I'll ever have the skill to do it consistently without killing myself. *Stretched Busa/Jickser/Whatever doesn't count

Florida plates Those guys represent like 80% of the riders here, I'm not surprised they don't know how to turn.

I was making fun of them as a fellow Floridian, although I'm glad they spread out to annoy other states when the weather permits

They also appear to be "darksiders" with idiot car tyres on. That might also have something to do with the whole can't get through a gentle corner thing.

What could you possibly need a tyre that big for except possibly drag racing?

The summer riding in CT isn't bad since it never gets very warm, and the scenery can be pleasant. But yeah, most of the time the best things to do involve going somewhere else.

Yeah, it figures. It says a lot when the staff at the school I'm interning at, generally don't have high opinions of the state and don't consider themselves true "Connecticutians" despite having lived/worked here for 20+ years.

And, I imagine CT would be a fun place to just explore on two wheels. It's got some gorgeous scenic towns, and hopefully there are some twisty roads in there somwhere.

I just came back to Connecticut after having lived in France for a few months, ask me how I like the state. loving awful. Born and raised and can't wait to get out. If you see a red SV650 in the southeast part of the state riding in freezing temperatures that's me. At least the roads are decent if you don't mind taking random side streets - usually there's good stuff tucked away.
