That portrait makes sense. Donald Duck always seemed mentally unstable and prone to quick violence, especially in the years following WW2. My guess is that he was unstable before the war and that in part because of that he suffered from severe PTSD from his experiences during the war. Poor guy. Or is the portrait meant to be Daffy? 'Cause he's dressed as Donald. Daffy is a different story altogether and in that case this wouldn't be a good representation of him. I mean, that fucker was a draft dodger and didn't go through half the poo poo Donald went through. He didn't have to see the things that Donald saw.

Honestly I think him stopping is the best thing I could have hoped for. This was all so beautifully horrible that there was always a little worry that it was made as a joke. The fact that he stopped making it restores it's validity. It is a pure and pristine example of someone pouring time and effort into something that is completely awful in every respect, and now we can be sure of that. What you saw here was an honest dump of someone's psyche, and it was wonderful poo poo.

I think he was made aware of our presence too early, now if he continues creating this masterpiece, he is aware of our views of what is funny. Knowing this, he might deliberately change his story telling technique or the theme in general. We may have destroyed the greatest cartoon ever.

I was diagnosed with Asperger's in my early teens. The psychiatrist was not at all surprised to hear that I loved the poo poo out of Thomas the Tank Engine when I was little. I still have a set of the die-cast toys of the first ten trains somewhere in the attic. I was never massively into animes or anime figures like Sonic, but I think they have a similar appeal, because there are certain conventions in manga drawings. It's almost like Aspie subtitles. You don't have to read a character's face to work out that they're feeling shy or awkward (which are quite difficult feelings to read anyway in real life), because a big sweatdrop and a blush will show up. Same goes for anger, you don't have to look for the signs because a cross-shaped vein appears on their face. The only trouble with that is you don't get much practice with reading faces or tones of voice. Some of us can learn to read people better over time, but it takes a lot of work, practice and immersion in social situations. I wonder if that's why it seems to be the more severe Aspies, or the shut-in ones who don't want or care to socialise, tend to be into things like Sonic? You can just switch off and play it without having to concentrate or use the skills you're learning.

I just realized that Lazerbot is in fact writing this epic in the style of George R.R. Martin. Think about it. He's killing off the main characters and is spamming words in every frame. So in a way, Sonic is in fact Eddard Stark. Tails is Sansa. Shadow is Arya and Knuckles is Jon. That bat-cat thing is Ygritte. I've yet to find a possible match for the monkey. The Master Troll is King Robert. Mario is Jaime Lannister and Luigi is the Imp. Alternately: Daffy could be Eddard and Bugs Catelyn.
