lol this is the worst poo poo Of course there will never be absolute proof. I can't see that you would need broad acceptance in the medical community (that would be difficult to achieve anyway). The best authorities on whether people like Einstein had asperger's, would be people who have the condition themselves (and are intelligent)- they would be better able to interpret the evidence (and put it into context).

I thought Jefferson was one of the few considered a legitimate possibility because historical sources painted him as batshit crazy half of the time.

There are confilicting explanations of the origin of the word "football". It is widely assumed that the word "football" (or "foot ball") references the action of the foot kicking a ball. There is a alternative explanation, which is that football originally referred to a variety of games in medieval Europe, which were played on foot. There is no conclusive evidence for either explanation. The conflicting theories are discussed at length in the main article Football (word).

Deuterieux posted:for most animals, really. lol he might have been out to lunch but this part gives me a giggle: quote:Harlow was well known for refusing to use conventional terminology, and instead chose deliberately outrageous terms for the experimental apparatus he devised. The tendency arose from an early conflict with the conventional psychological establishment in which Harlow used the term "love" in place of the popular and archaically correct term, "attachment." Such terms and respective devices included a forced-mating device he called the "rape rack," tormenting surrogate mother devices he called "Iron maidens," and an isolation chamber he called the "pit of despair" dude was definitely messed up though
