The only thing that aid services contribute to Africa is a temporary lessening of burden on a lucky few, which translates to an even higher population in areas ill-prepared to support it. We need to pull the bandage off and get out of Africa now, so that the population can reach an equilibrium. In the end, a few hundred thousand child deaths now will be far more palatable than a million deaths in the generation that those children would eventually produce.
