Looks the same exact body as the delta wing concept which I thought was being developed for IndyCar. Are they still planning on moving that direction for the series?

I think it was proposed as a new direction (there were other proposals too) for Indy to go. Indy decided not to pursue that direction so instead of scrapping all the work, I guess they are seeing how far they can take the delta wing.

Nissan's taken that Indy concept, used some bits from an old Aston prototype, added its engine and now we have this. The numbers add up, and from what I've read it's just as fast as the other concepts through the corners. I cannot wait to see this thing at Le Mans this year.
