No, drafting is turned off for track days, why do you believe that? Also you can't hold up traffic, those assholes are glued to the line. They'll just plow through you on their never ending quest to never leave the race line.

Plus, the AI cars are "fake". Once they get a certain distance behind you, the game despawns them and teleports a new one in front of you. Sometimes it changes the car color to improve the illusion that it's real traffic.

Finally beat Montoya, and am down into the 1:31's. It blows my mind that there are people out there finding another 4 seconds on that lap. Also, probably going to send a request to AUGR, gamertag is the same.

I think AUGR is full, if not at 100 members then certainly at 99. Also here's a little update for the masochists out there attempting this weeks Community Bounty vs. Me monkey 8 me: He has set a blazing time of 57.351 which you'll have to beat to receive some unannounced, probably worthless car from T10. This poo poo's hard and to my knowledge only 3 goons have beat it so far (AdamH1mself/me, EHONDA and JingleBells/PSPBonnet). To get there you pretty much have to drive with all assists off, get lucky and use a storefront tune. I used Me monkey 8 me's tune to get there but he actually recommends the tune created by user M3Rocket. So yeah if getting repeatedly smashed by Hummers, Land Rovers and Q7 is your thing, good luck!

And for those of you that don't like torturing yourselves, I figured it'd be worth a reminder that there'll be another Game With Devs session on the 29th, which means another opportunity to score some (potentially) easy unicorns. Now that Turn 10 doesn't have everyone hammering away at fixing the servers I'm hoping these will become a regular thing again.

One thing that I've found on the web is that sometimes, the 360 doesn't set up it's uPNP properly, if it boots straight into a game. Set it up so your 360 boots to dash, then start the game. It usually solves more problems than it makes.

I'd just like to say that I really love this game now after spending a few days learning manual shifting. Driving around, downshifting into turns, and speeding down straight-aways has become my most enjoyable video game experience at the moment. I've even found a few pubbie rooms that race real clean and have a good time. Still two seconds off Montoya's time, though

The April pack will presumably have a Ford Torino and 1970 Corolla in it, if Forzacentral was right about them having those cars coming out somewhere down the line. Of course, this is if April is their last car pack (I am betting it won't be). Personally, I am hoping for a rotary appreciation pack at some point. Give us the RX2-RX5, the 110S, first-gen RX7, the 929 and the REPU. And give us the Citroen GS and NSU Spider as well so we can have some non-Mazda fun!

It was Ford's stocker back during the 60's/70's, and another one of those 'significant' cars you rarely, if ever, see in video games. I'm still holding out for more classic Volvos. C'mon Turn 10. P1800 and Amazon.

You do know the 2CV has like 2 or 3 speeds and only does about 40 right? The slowest car in the game (pinto) is more than four times faster. Why this game doesnt have an air-cooled beetle and bus i have no idea.

WA State hates race tracks, the last time NASCAR wanted to come to WA, we ran them out of the state. There are certainly lots of great locations for one though, because of all of the hills, there are area's that would make some epic tracks.
