I got around to driving the car today and it's a blast, no shuddering when it shifts and there's barely a speck of rust on the car. Interior is wonderful for the age. He has only owned it a bit over a year so he doesn't know if the valve lash adjustment has been done. Mileage is accurate, the car appears to have been garaged most of it's life. The bad thing is it turns out the seller is an old friend of mine so I feel bad about low balling him. Regardless, if I can convince the girlfriend I'll probably own it by next week.

Its not a terrible price, but just understand that convertible continental is a world of some suffering. Think multiple hydraulic pumps, relays, and 50 year old switches.
The pain points are documented, but know that they are still major pain points.

This is a project car, we'll get to that now.
The car developed a lower end rod knock, it was parked and went under the knife, but didn't go much further than that. The head is still good and the bottom end could be rebuilt or a good one could be purchased to replace it. It's also in need of some body repair, but it's 90% panel replacement and I have all the parts needed(Of course these will be included in the sale). These panels are all in very good shape, especially for the year. I've got more pictures, so please don't be afraid to ask.
The interior is crazy clean, especially for the year, it has a few gauges and a really nice carbon fiber double pod mounted to the left of the steering wheel(looks very nice and clean). Cash is Boss with me, but if you have a nice 98-02 Firebird roller chassis, I'd be interested. All trades will be considered. I'm asking 1800$ O.b.O for everything, don't be afraid to make an offer, but Please don't send me anything crazy low or negative replies, this car is very Rare and if you aren't familiar with them, please do some research before responding.
