My wife used to drive sports cars but now we have kids and all our friends and relatives have kids so hauling six kids on a regular basis leads to the minivan. She also uses her car to haul all manner of stupid poo poo so the cargo room is nice i guess. I don't have to drive it or ride in it so i don't really care, but i actually don't mind it. It's not more fun than my SS but it is kind of enjoyable like driving your living room down the street. Im just glad the Rendezvous is gone and we didn't have to buy another one, we've had two. I would have liked an Enclave if i went with another Buick but they're kind of rare around here.

Rhyno: your transmission should be the ford AXOD, which was used in the regular Taurus, the Windstar, etc. it's a pretty crummy transmission to put in the SHO. Mine would ant into gear at every shift; it was horrible. I would swap the 5-speed in if you can. A lot of the SHO guys with the manual trannies will even take the motor out of an auto car to swap because of its bigger displacement and extra torque.

The nail in the coffin was that they weigh more than my factory wheel. They don't really "carry" much in the warehouse. Most of the cast stuff is purchased beforehand so as soon as the container comes in they are shipped out. The only reason I was even able to get a set is because Brian is a friend of mine. I still had to pay extra to get a custom offset and hub centric ring though. Thank you though, I will probably only hang onto them for this season then get something else.

I took off my wing, ordered a carbon lip and made 508 whp with a little touch of meth. Now its time to go standalone, 1100cc injectors, race gas and see if we can do 750whp. Its a fun daily. A couple of weeks ago, driving from Saskatoon to Montreal, I wiped out on the highway in north-western Ontario. Summer tires are not good on extra-slippery snow-atop-rain on road. Still a fine-looking car to my mind, even immobilized. Wipeout 1 by Execudork, on Flickr

Nice, clean FB. Needs just a little lowering though. Maybe an inch? Could just be the angle of the photo bringing out the 4x4. Given the wheels, I'll guess it's either a GSL-SE or an SE suspension swap?

Bought this E38 a couple of weeks ago for a bargain price. Drives beautifully, as you'd expect, and nothing wrong with it apart from a few pixels missing on the on-board computer. Only problem is, I've already misjudged the length of the car and turned too early into a tight driveway, and scraped the nearside-rear arch on a brick wall Not too cut up about it given the price I paid, but it's annoying me.

I was browsing old posts in this thread and saw that I didn't have a unified post in quite a long time. A year ago I stood here My now traded Cherokee and Escort GT. I miss them both. A year ago I bought the 2007 Mazdaspeed6 in the above picture. Bought it with 26K miles, she now has 38K and recently got a new set of summer only tires and wheels. I had a set of BC Racing coilovers to install but I sold them to a fellow poster on Mazdas247 until I decide where to go with the car. I want to do exhaust, suspension and then fix all the little paint chips and dings but other poo poo keeps cropping up. A few months after I bought the MS6 I saw this beauty and couldn't let her slip through my fingers. 1995 Ford F-150 Lightning. Bought her with 100K miles, drove the hell out of it and put 3K on it. My father also loves it and borrows it once a month. It's got a tiny dent in the hood, some itty bitty rust spots and a few scratches in the bed. She's still rocking the original suspension which is fairly worn out so I want to replace that. I think there's a small exhaust leak so eventually that will need to be fixed. I was going to sell her but she's too much fun, I love the truck so I couldn't go through with the sale. Last week I bought this from a buddy of mine. A 1995 Ford Taurus SHO ATX with 87K on the clock. It's still at his place as I'm short on room right now but it's in amazing shape. I'd like to do a full exhaust at some point and do a full paint touch up. The passenger front door has a dent but it's not creased so I think a PDR guy can fix it easily. Which brings us to here. Bad decision 2012 #2. A 1988 Ford Escort EXP with 105K miles and a 5 speed. I haven't actually bought this yet, I'm still trying to convince the seller that I'm not trying to scam him since he's a few states away. I don't NEED a 4th car but as I posted in another thread this is one of my Bucket List cars and it would let me re live my Escort love.

I'd like to pick up an Evo X but they're supposed to stop production in 2013 and I don't know if I'm comfortable buying one used because come one, who wouldn't beat the hell out of that car? So maybe a WRX instead. Undecided on sedan or hatch but definitely getting a four door this time around.
