There may be a better thread for this, but the new Infected Mushroom officially dropped today. They're trying a lot of new things, the album is like half dubstep. I had mixed feelings about the tracks they were previewing, but as a whole it's pretty crazy. I Waited For You, Cerulean, and Put Your Hands Together are awesome, but everything else is forgettable. They're caught in the trend of following up their badass, high energy, don't-give-a-gently caress albums with super watered down, chinstrokey "heh, lets break down as many genre barriers as we can" albums. Of course, though, they'll probably make it work live somehow, because they're just that good.

Does anyone want EDC tickets for Vegas? I was going to go with my girlfriend but can't go because she can't get a VISA for the states. I bought 2 tix and 2 shuttle passes and would like to get rid of them and am willing to take a bit of a hit on the price. Msg me if you would like them. I also already went to Coachella and UMF and am a little tired...

I just got Daft Punk's discography on vinyl. It is almost too good. However, at this point, I like Homework a bit more. Homework had that perfect hypnotic, repetitive electro-house sound that discovery lacks.

I got the chance to see Feed Me last month at the end of his With Teeth tour, and it was probably the best time I've ever had at a show. Ever since then I haven't been able to stop jamming Cott's Face. The teeth were a really badass prop too. Here's a pretty good video of the above song but with dem teeth. Really digging synth pop artists at the moment, so what are the best albums by the "classic" bands, or should I just stick with the greatest hits? On a side note, Hurts should totally release their followup to Happiness, that album is stunning.
