I think the worst part of this is that JMan latched onto the end of a very positive marathon and a heartfelt message from SirVG and once again turned it back around to being about him. That's what really bothers me about it, anyway.

I tuned back in just in time to watch Jman give a speech and break down crying again. Hooray. Good jobs guys who participated this was a sweet event. Lots of peaches__ talk in the irc channel they have.

I tuned in at the end (did not have time for the FFVI run) and saw JMan crying. I don't know much about him but, why was he crying? I caught the, "You guys are my family," comment which is pretty awkward. Anyway, I missed the first two days of the marathon, anyone recommend any runs?

I recorded something, but it's a surprise what it is. I'll give a hint; it's Jman crying over something not related to the stream or the cause (autism), because someone told a serious story about suicide and then Jman decided he needed a bit of attention regarding that issue too. But that's it for hints, you'll have to figure out the rest yourself! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OrNxk36AuIY

Anyway, moving on from JMan talk, as of right now the tracker shows $45,780.70 in total donations, and that isn't counting any TheYetee shirts sold between their $2,500 donation and now, as well as any e-check donations. That's a pretty solid mark for the smaller marathon.

If he wasn't around we'd just have to complain about Mike Uyama or something and it just wouldn't be the same. You know what was great about this marathon? No 60k hertz whine from the CRT TV. THe audio equipment was much better but could still use some improvements. Baby killing the mystic cave was a highlight for me, as was Essentia's Serious Time in Donkey Kong Country 2.

SirVG gave a heartfelt story about a TAS-er who unfortunately committed suicide, he was wrought to tears and then gave a very sincere plea for anyone considering doing the same to talk to someone before hurting themselves. And then JMan jumped up.
