All Electric '94 Saturn Conversion - $2000 (Jerseyville IL 62052)

94, Saturn converted into 120 Volt DC Electric about 7 years ago. 9" Advanced DC motor, Curtis Converter, 120 to 12v converter, Charger etc. It's due for a new set of batteries. Presently has 15 8volt deep cycle lead acid batteries. Range was 40-50 miles with new batteries. It still runs but has a much shorter range and doesn't have as good pickup as when the batteries were new. There are over $6000 in conversion parts so this would be a good buy even if you wanted to used the part to do your own conversion.

Fiat X1/9 1975 - $1500 (Mehlville)

This little Fiat X1/9 needs very little work. The body is in very good condition, with no rust. The interior is new. The engine I installed was rebuilt by previous owner, so I'm not sure of milage on it. It does run good. Only problem is an oil leak somewhere from the trans. I'm more familiar with american cars, so I don't know much about these. That's partly why I'm selling it. I also need the garage space. As a bonus it also comes with it's own tow bar, should you ever need it. Asking $1.500.

Nah that's what happened to the last guy who drove it with low balls (they exploded). That's why it specifies in the ad, no low balls.

I love little details like "kept in a light free garage."

I also never drove it during the day and whenever I did there was an inflatable bubble around the car to keep bugs and other debris at bay.

I've never seen a government auction describe anything they are selling in such detail. I browse the Crown asset disposal site sometimes and that car would just be "Honda, Blue, Gas, Manual Transmission, runs maybe, bidding starts at $6k".

I'd say edit it a little bit, as I tend to agree with the other responses to an extent. As inspiration, this is the ad I created for my old car; I received texts from about eight different prospective buyers within twelve hours. Giving a lot of information is effective, but boring your readers can hurt you.

https://www.searchalljunk.com. You can even break it down by geographical region.

Up until very recently, it was searchallcraigs.com, but they "improved" it to include a bunch of other poo poo so you end up with a lot of garbage to sort through now. I wish it would go back to CL only.
