Those The best part of it is that normally I'd assume that a page where a guy tells his team the plan and they all react about how great it is without the plan ever being explained on-camera would inevitably end in disappointment and stupidity, but at this point I actually trust Lazerbot to pull this off. Either Shadow's plan will be genius, or it'll fail in a way that's consistent with the continuing downfall of Shadow the Hedgehog. (I can't believe I typed that last sentence, or indeed care about anything involving Shadow the Hedgehog, but that's TGT for you.)

If, say, the Justin Bever concert had gone off without a hitch and they blew up all the trolls, it would be pretty sloppy storytelling, because we are essentially told the same story twice, first when Shadow explains the plan, and then when Shadow does the plan. There would have been no point in us seeing the plan happen if it went exactly as Shadow said it would. Most stories would be a lot more subtle about this rule, but that's not how Lazerbot has ever or will ever roll.

We just had a character return from Chapter 2, out of loving nowhere, with consequences for loving another throwaway character and Knuckles. I really doubt this is going to be forgotten. We just won't know the repercussions until Chapter 43.
