Gibbs has been my favorite rapper for the last few years now, but I don't know if I like BFK. The two songs I like most are the one with Z-Ro and the one with Spitta. I'm gonna play it in my car tomorrow one more time to see if I like the beats more.

Think they had some twitter slapfight with Metro Zu. No Ugly Mane does suck though.

Psychodrama had some great tracks in the 80s/90s too.

Psychodrama - Uh Huh

Psychodrama - Magic

Twista w/ Psychodrama - Adrenaline Rush

and an old Chicago gangster classic. If you grew up on the southside in the 80s/90s there'd be a good chance you heard this song bumpin from some dude's rammed up royale or lesabre.

Was this like, really recent? Because I swear last week I was reading about a show going on with Metro Zu and Radier Klan.

It's kind of hard to keep up with how many beefs Raider Klan seems to get in...I'm friends with Simmy on facebook and I'm pretty sure he just hates everyone.

This may have always been brought up already and I apologize if it has, it's just a huge thread to read. But, have you heard of T.I's newer single on his new album called "Trouble Man" coming out in December? This dude just gets better with age like a glass of scotch especially being out of prison. KING OF THE SOUTH IS BACK!

T.I's single called "Go Get it" . Motivation music right here! Also the other song single called "love this life". Can't loving wait till this album drobs.

"I'm Back" was a decent T.I. song but besides that and maybe his verse on Big Boi's album (Tangerine) nothing recent of his comes to mind as being "quality" or anywhere near the calibre of his earlier pre-prison work. He was already in decline before the prison sentence IMO. Am I missing anything?

You're like if my dad tried talking about hip-hop.

T.I's verse on "Tangerine" was awesome ("all I can see are titties pussy lips and rear end cheeks") but other than that yeah he hasn't done much for me. Rubberband Man is still great tho.

So lovin the new Gibbs mixtape pretty much top to bottom. Someone pointed out that hes got a lot of those "repeat short phrase 5x" type of hooks, which kinda sucks, but other than that it's pretty awesome.

I have to ask though, is Miseducation pretty much his consensus best release? I would say that 2-3 of my top 5 Gibbs song are on that tape and I really never ever get tired of listening to it

As someone new to Freddie Gibbs (BFK is my first tape of his and I like it - a lot) what are some of his best tracks considered? Getting that Miseducation tape now...

edit: nvm, answered my own question about Datpiff. Thanks for all the Gibbs recommendations! \/\/\/\/

edit: or right after I ask if Datpiff will spam the poo poo out of my cell # if I give it to them to sign up for an account...?

Just listen to all of the tapes, my top 5 songs are probably something like this:

1. Queen (Luv U 2 Death) (Miseducation of Freddie Gibbs)
2. Boxframe Cadillac (midwestgangstaboxframecadillacmusic)
3. County Bounce (midwestgangstaboxframecadillacmusic)
4. World So Cold (Miseducation of Freddie Gibbs)
5. National Anthem (gently caress the World) (Str8 Killa)

Edit: Other awesome songs: Bussdown (Str8 Killa) and Crushin Feelins (Str8 Killa)

I'd probably say that Miseducation/midwestgangsta are his best two tapes, with Str8 Killa/Cold Day in Hell/BFK all closely behind. All amazing though.

My favorite mixtape by him would probably be Midwestgangstaboxframecadillacmuzik. Just get all of them because Gibbs is amazingly consistent. Few tracks from Midwestgangsta:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZmg95dKwUM - Boxframe Cadillac, a classic
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tKo0gyllKs - Murda On My Mind

Here's one from a tape called Str8 Slammin' not sure if it was originally from this:

edit: beaten but there can never be enough gangsta gibbs

My favourite is definitely Miseducation, followed by Cold Day In Hell. I think that out of all his discography, Cold Day has the best selection of beats but he is incredibly consistent so you can't go wrong with any of his tapes.

My favourites from Cold Day In Hell:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=342t5Q-J5nc - Str8 Slammin
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJ8VvjNWWR4 - Rob Me A Nigga
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MzNsfVQRDes - Let Ya Nuts Hang

edit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKOXd6BM20g - Scottie Pippens. Technically a Curren$y song, but Gibbs' kills it.
