It seriously depends what car you're cruising in. Like if you're in a Honda listen to eat coast. If you're in a drop top listen to g-funk. If you're in a car worth less than $500 you must listen to gunplay at all times.

When i'm out cruising, I just listen to some smooth rear end r&b like d'Angelo or sade. But, um, I'm just a playa like that.

It's funny you say that. She was invited to campus to speak about "new media" (ugh) and modern journalism as it relates to celebrity culture, and she spent most of her responses describing how she doesn't actually have a marketing plan and just posts whatever pops into her head. Bruiser Brigade just started trying to market her I guess.

Apathy is in CT working on solo albums and Demigodz stuff, Scoop is producing for big players (The Recipe), and Ryu is releasing a new Styles of Beyond album, so they're all doing some solo work right now which makes it hard for them to get another album together. I tweet at them all the time about making some new stuff though. My cousin is boys with them (he made their website), so hopefully I'll get to meet them one day and convince them to make another album. GBC is awesome though.

Speaking of White rappers!
Hung out with Kitty Pryde for most of the night before and after an event at my school. Surprisingly unaffected and amicable, and incredibly quick. She talked off the record a bit about trying to actually focus under Danny Brown's tutelage, which as far as she claimed was the most supportive she's ever seen out of any other rapper. Also the fact that Riff Raff is exactly what he seems to be regarding his calculated image, especially in the sense that he purposely directs weird things for other people(like in the Orion's Belt video) to perpetuate his image. Her boyfriend is going to produce their sex noise into a track for Lonely Island, possibly .

I get the sense that she actually hates her fame and everything that comes along with it but loves rapping and the people she meets through it :(. I'm not wild about her music but as a person she seems lovely. And if DB sees something, far be it from me to ignore it.

e: She mentioned the reason she took the gig for almost no pay was to "just get out of NYC" because it was hard :(.

Here's my favorite 'Ro albums: I'm Still Livin', Let the Truth Be told, and Crack.

There's a pretty good mixtape floating around out there that is exactly 1/2 2pac and 1/2 Z-Ro. I have it but I can't remember where I found it.

Listen to the songs: "These Niggaz feat Scarface", "Never Let it Go", "No More Pain", "Man Cry." Those are just the first that popped into my head, he's got TONS of great, great, music.

Ok, the Swang remix wasn't on the album but should have been. Both of these albums are great and have lots of tracks that will stay on your hard drive for years - for me it's been a decade.

It's dark as gently caress, too. All the drama this is causing with their label is kind of glorious. My only complaint is I wish Zach Hill had done acoustic drums. He still kills it on the electronic set, but the acoustic stuff always had this death rattle sound to it, like on Full Moon (Death Classic). In any case I'm continually impressed with Death Grips.
