Bob NewSCART posted:What's the best cruising music? Albums or mix tapes or whatever, I need good music to play in my car It seriously depends what car you're cruising in. Like if you're in a Honda listen to eat coast. If you're in a drop top listen to g-funk. If you're in a car worth less than $500 you must listen to gunplay at all times. When i'm out cruising, I just listen to some smooth rear end r&b like d'Angelo or sade. But, um, I'm just a playa like that.

It's funny you say that. Bruiser Brigade just started trying to market her I guess. Also Danny Brown has a stamp that makes his name look the same upside down so

Professor Funk posted:So what the hell happened to Get Busy Committee? Uzi Does It is probably one of my favorite albums of the past couple of years and I was really looking forward to Opening Ceremony if the title track was going to be any indication. Apathy is in CT working on solo albums and Demigodz stuff, Scoop is producing for big players (The Recipe), and Ryu is releasing a new Styles of Beyond album, so they're all doing some solo work right now which makes it hard for them to get another album together. I tweet at them all the time about making some new stuff though. My cousin is boys with them (he made their website), so hopefully I'll get to meet them one day and convince them to make another album. GBC is awesome though.

To me it sounds like a beat RZA would make if he was still RZA in 2012. So, that means subway or bus music.

Here's my favorite 'Ro albums: I'm Still Livin', Let the Truth Be told, and Crack. There's a pretty good mixtape floating around out there that is exactly 1/2 2pac and 1/2 Z-Ro. I have it but I can't remember where I found it. Listen to the songs: "These Niggaz feat Scarface", "Never Let it Go", "No More Pain", "Man Cry." Those are just the first that popped into my head, he's got TONS of great, great, music.

Restless for Trae and Let the Truth Be Told for Z-Ro. Here are my fav tracks from each: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1n6FseN_BxI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4VsTwgjf5SA Ok, the Swang remix wasn't on the album but should have been. Both of these albums are great and have lots of tracks that will stay on your hard drive for years - for me it's been a decade. John Brown fucked around with this message at 06:56 on Sep 30, 2012 |

Thats a weird comparison. Big Boi's last album had sold at least 175,000 by 2010, which while not amazing is certainly successful.

Not sure how you guys are about Death Grips but some people went digging through the files directory of their website and found a new track and what looks to be an extremely NSFW cover for their new album. They just made some big announcement for something tomorrow also. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2N2J4vl2pBY

It's dark as gently caress, too. All the drama this is causing with their label is kind of glorious. My only complaint is I wish Zach Hill had done acoustic drums. He still kills it on the electronic set, but the acoustic stuff always had this death rattle sound to it, like on Full Moon (Death Classic). In any case I'm continually impressed with Death Grips.
