That last panel really does say it all. Just show that one panel to someone and they'll get it. Sylvester with a gleefully dumb look on his face, cursing both literally and figuratively, using dark magic to send a horde of resurrected characters from various different animated properties to combat the trolls... it's just everything, right there.

I think the grey bulldog is a thug that appeared in various Looney Tunes. He probably has a name but I can't think of what it is. Also I don't think the little yellow one is Brain - he had a red nose and looked kinda different. So then is the other bulldog maybe Marc Anthony from the cartoon where he adopts a kitten?
