NihilCredo posted:Yeah, I'm not going to believe that with all the mods in the BWP there isn't something that turns Sarevok into an actual god of Death, in the gaming sense more than the Forgotten Realms sense. I'd be a little surprised, actually. SCS should make the encounter tougher, but Tactics is restricted to BG2, I think. There aren't many BG1 mods.

I know there's a mod that makes Sarevok untouchable until his minions are killed. That's harder all on its own.

Psh, at the rate Syvishtar's gaining power, he'll have a couple of casts of Horrid Wilting by the time he reaches the end of BG1 content. Sarevok's crew are probably immune to it, given the bullshit we've seen so far.

NihilCredo posted:What, CuChulainn didn't have enough content for you? Two different schools of mod NPC-ing . CuChulainnSelfInsert is the one-quest overpowered NPC who gets to replace CHARNAME as a protagonist for the duration of that quest, whereas Indira is the reasonably statted NPC who banters with almost every other party member and quite a few non-party NPCs you meet in the attempt to give her a personality. From what reading of mod files I did, she's quite a bit like Finch interaction-wise (makes sense, since they were both made by the same team) and something between Finch and Imoen personality-wise. I haven't had her in any of my parties yet, but reading the mod files shows the aforementioned few-lines banters with most of the canon NPCs, a bunch of one-line interjections in various interactions with non-party NPCs, some of them in Baldur's Gate (don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure none forces you to take a certain path) and longer, multi-banter interactions with Finch and Mur'Neth. She tries to have fork duels for the last piece of food with Finch as she used to have with her siblings back home and she needles Finch about the way she's portrayed in Finch's chronicle of the party's adventures. Also, she's scared silly of Mur'Neth and his oozy ways. Mur'Neth reciprocates by graphic description of what he can do to people while in ooze form.

I think the next time Khalid dies BEAR will replace him in my party. Not sure if I can console one right into my party though?

Some of those numbers are a bit weird, are they from vendors? Full Plate Mail +2 should surely be worth more than 25 gold... e: is it cursed? All the low-value items seem to be, I don't remember it coming up in the LP but I could easily have forgotten.

That came from the one-time Wish from a genie. I guess that's why they priced it low.

Considering how overpowered it is, the Robe of Dh'arlo'me is a bit of a steal at 3875 gp.

And here are the final votes:code:
* The Most Popular Award goes to: Black Bear! Everybody loves this guy, geez. He beat out Imoen even. * Steadiest Maintainer Award this time goes to: Yeslick. 2nd last time, 3rd this time, he is always popular with the Voices. * Greatest Fall Award goes to: Shar-Teel. She was 8th last time, now she is dead last at 38th. Even though she went into the Underdark and came back out again with us, that does not bode well. * Most Meteoric Rise award goes to: Khalid and Jaheira. Jaheira made it all the way into the starting group, and Khalid is 11 places higher than he used to be. People are getting curious about their role in Baldur's Gate the city, I think.

Urg... Does anyone know where I can find a comprehensive list of all equipment stats for BWP without loading up Near Infinity or similar?

Actually, nevermind. I've kinda worked it out now anyway. The only things you could safely get away with losing right now are mage robes and shields. You could probably also lose some weapons, but it's probably not worth messing with those yet as the minions you bring into the final battle that aren't under your control will need whatevers left. For now, allowing for current and future (BG1 only) characters, you could safely get rid of the following: Adventurer's Robe Traveller's Robe (x1) Small Shield +1 Medium Shield +1 Although you will probably find yourself with left over equipment, even after outfitting EVERYONE, this allows you to mix and match various things as you see fit (E.g. You can put a bard in a robe or light armour. You can make a warrior use a two-handed sword or go sword and board.) Unless you're planning on recruiting any more random people, you can also get rid of the gems and non-magical necklaces (barring those used for Thalantyr's recipes and the other item makers). Divine and Protection scrolls should be split up amonst the active party (although I'm pretty sure you're already doing this). Arcane scrolls should be given to Firebeard. If he's already learned the spell, they can be split up amongst the active party. If he can't learn the spell then give it to the next Mage who doesn't already know it. For the first active party, are you planning on equipping the bear? If so, which class are you using?

Well, I believe there's only two more NPCs left to be recruited in the game. Technically three, but one requires another NPC who is permanently dead.

Tetrodo posted:Considering how overpowered it is, the Robe of Dh'arlo'me is a bit of a steal at 3875 gp. Well, first it's cursed. And second, those are sell prices. Buy prices would be 20x, 30x or maybe even 50x the sell price. The economy is not friendly to me in this game . Veryslightlymad posted:Didn't know they had one. I wasn't kidding when I said "You know, she's got fairly good odds of being gibbed, now" Yeah, but she's got access to all that sweet-as druid eq. Remember Faldorn's -14 AC? Benjifer posted:For now, allowing for current and future (BG1 only) characters, you could safely get rid of the following: Ok, that's what I thought. I don't really have that much extra equipment. I think I might try to keep those robes anyways because I might have enough for a second Practical Protection Mage Robe from Thalantyr. Benjifer posted:For the first active party, are you planning on equipping the bear? If so, which class are you using? TIAX RULES ALL! He will step on your shoulders to propel himself to greatness! He is destined to Lord over all you worthless plebes! Not to mention the spoilered character has an ability that is, by this point, close to useless, but is wonderfully overpowered for the vast majority of BG1.

Guess not.
