It's because only one polling location in Orangeburg has reported. Orangeburg has the densest black population in the whole state afaik.

Ah well, Tennessee isn't a battleground state and Memphis is going to go blue with or without my help, so it's not incredibly important that I vote.

I don't really know the context of this photo, but it's saved on my computer as "juba0.jpg" so I presume it's from Iraq. I don't think it's Juba himself, though.

Also, can I ask that those of you who post youtube links give them a short description, please?

Google reverse search says it's Juba, for what it's worth.

Both explanations seem stupid enough to have been real. You have to remember that building was remade time and time again, the latest rebuild was not too long ago. I remember reading they had a hard time finding a colour that matched the original one, because we don't make paint with blood anymore.

A popular TV comedian of the second half of the 20th Century, Tato Bores, used to joke that the Casa Rosada was a combination of the Red Kremlin Plaza and the US White House, and thus better than both of them separately or something like that.

What's the situation like in for example the White House? Can you get close to it without men in black stopping you for a little chat? You can get pretty close to the Casa Rosada (as you can see from the pictures, there is an entire park in front of it and it is very popular), and I'm pretty sure it has guided tours and all that.

Im from Argentina, and yes, i think there are guided tours. Actually, the Plaza de Mayo, which is the park in front of it, is usually the place where people gather up to protest.

What's the point of hating average Republicans? They, for the most part, are just people who have convictions. The convictions might be misguided, but they are convictions all the same.

I agree for the most part then I remember the smug looks on their faces as they basked in their hatred at Chik-fil-a restaurants across their country in a show of force against gay rights and remember who we are dealing with.

Women's suffrage comics I came across in an American magazine called The Judge. All of these were printed between the years 1912 and 1914:

More comics, poems, jokes and stories regarding women's suffrage--positive as well as negative--can be found HERE.

The Judge mainly covered light fare (sports, politics, humor, entertainment, etc.), with a tendency to regularly discuss the hot topic of women's suffrage during this particular era.

From the same magazine:

A comic depicting the emasculation of men by the women of the future.

Because in grown-up land, where people have to deal with the consequences of actions, intent doesn't matter one drat bit. They failed in their duty to educate themselves before galvanizing their opinions, and now we all have to reap the effects of their ignorance.

Not all convictions are the same. Why would having convictions in general be something good? In this case those convictions gently caress over gays, women, sick people, workers, the poor and the environment.
