Recorded sample with new Nailbomb pickups: http://soundcloud.com/blackhandaus/thrachordean-sample I'm pretty drat psyched with them. That's DI into Amplitube 3 for the record and 2 guitars.

http://i45.tinypic.com/21oop5i.jpg Rubbish picture. However, this is the Ibanez JEM7V. And she is ALL MINE. Only went in to buy a JEM 555! This had just arrived and there was no going back once I gave her a whirl. Quite the upgrade from my current RG320B and S470 guitars.. (although both of those are very nice).

Well, I've been playing for YEARS now. Felt about time I treated myself to a REALLY good guitar. My RG is 'okay' and the S is pretty nice, but still not in the same league! Now need to downsize on guitars though. Hard to choose :-(

whooooo ooooooo This is WAY more amp than I need right now. e: Cab is a 2x12 birch open back with Celestion Vintage 30s. I'd like to close off the back, actually - it'd basically be identical to an Orange or Mesa/Boogie cab at that point. Carbohydrates fucked around with this message at 01:06 on Nov 28, 2012 |

Got some new pickups for my Tele from GFS today. Got the Fat Boy set. I'm gonna try to get them in this weekend. I'll update with my impression of them.

I was looking for a fun and easy way to sit and woodshed with a decent tone without having to fire this whole thing up (at its lowest volume, it's still too much for aptartment living, plus I work 2nd shift and want to do a lot of playing late at night): (side note: My EBTech Hum-X also came today. I've been lifting the ground on the left combo amp for like 18 years, gonna stop that as of today!) So I bought this excellent and inexpensive little stereo amp/speaker setup: ...and today when I get home from work I will plug this into it: (The ring is a tungsten ring I saw at the mall for $89.99 and bought off Amazon for $19.99 - I like it.) I can practice anytime day or night, without having to put headphones on. I need to learn some new tricks on my new guitar (which I am enjoying so much I am considering buying another to put hot pickups in.) First, though, I need to read the manual on this new PODHD. It appears to be rather complex. Dr. Faustus fucked around with this message at 01:24 on Nov 30, 2012 |

Picked up some new bx5s and a yamaha mixer from guitar center a few weeks back. I've been very happy with this setup. They seem great for the small room they are in.

Hallo I am muike\ I put new pickups in my guitar and now it is Tim the Toolman Taylor My pictures are lovely and I am a lazy dorkus, enjoy my salmon guitar rear end They're DiMarzio Dominions, really great sounding bridge pickup, good sounding neck pickup (I don't use neck pickups that much). Need to spend more time EQing my amp with them to get the most out of them, but I've been pretty content to not tweak anything and just play with them.

I've been like that for a long time. I've spent at least 3 times as much on pickups for my S540 as I did for the actual guitar.
