MMA betting was more fun before bookies new what the gently caress was going on. The most I ever put on a fight was $20 or $25 (can't remember) on Matt Serra +1100 vs. GSP 1. That was probably my last correct pick for the next three years.

tito was still a 3:1 favorite over randy after randy demolished the guy he was blatantly ducking for over a year. odds are pretty much spot on these days, there's really no point in betting on mma unless you need the added excitement.

My boss is putting out an open bet at work that Jon Jones will put Chael Sonnen away in the first round. If Jones finishes Sonnen, he gets 100 bucks. If Sonnen survives the first, we would get 50. So far, I'm the only one to seriously consider this. Is this a good bet? I can't think of why it wouldn't be, aside from the whole "don't win money from your boss" thing

Staring sucks, but he has a real puncher's chance. -2000 are pretty good odds for a puncher's chance. e: I dont actually know if Staring sucks, just that the guys he's been fighting have been so far below Cormier that it's hard to believe he has a real shot.
