That video doesn't concern me for any safety reasons, but isn't it true that you're body can't actually absorb any of the minerals used to enrich foods with the way they are added? Hence, why they have a reputation for being nutritionally worthless. Kind of like how emergen-c has 1000000000% of your daily vitamin C or whatever, even though your body just rejects vitamin C after it receives what it needs. People still think it is doing them some good even though it's not.

Iron supplements are not indigestible, though. All you need is a compound that will provide Fe(II) or Fe(III) when it is introduced to various enzymes or stomach acid. It's just a simple chemistry problem.
