Amazing. And Rage Against The Machine-Killing In The Name(Less Angry Version) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mOE9fE72QLg Takes an angry song and makes it hella chill. The harmonized 'gently caress you's near the end are hilariously amazing.

Perturbator - Technoir https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRXu-bR8RGs I bought the I Am The Night album on a whim and the whole thing is loving amazing. Very dark 80s synth. But Technoir is the best track, very brutal and threatening. The sample at the beginning is from The Terminator and uses the scene in the nightclub as inspiration.

I'm not sure why I didn't expect anything great from this thread and passed it up so many times, but looking through one page I saw bongripper and tame impala and realized that was a poor assessment. I even found a couple of new things worth downloading. I will definitely be following this thread in the future. As for my own contribution: Gojira - Mouth Of Kala Kind of disappointed that these guys have continued their trend of making less progressive and more technical metal, but they can still write a drat catchy riff. Edit to say that Igorrr is shaping up to be the best thing I have discovered in a very, very long time. Pogobubba has a new favorite as of 04:20 on Feb 11, 2013 |
