Hey FedEx, how dare you deliver something before your "delivered by" time.
Don't mean to interrupt the pen chat but does anyone have a Safari for sale before I take the plunge and order one off amazon? If it's charcoal and EF tip I'd be even happier.

I know some people in this and the last thread were unhappy with theirs...

I've seen fun you people wouldn't believe.
Tiki torches on fire off the summit of Kilauea.
I watched disco balls glitter in the dark near the Brandenburg Gate.
All those moments will be lost in time, like crowds in rain.

Time to sleep.

This might be sacrilegious, but I like to mix a little bulletproof black into my Iroshizuku inks using a syringe. It makes for really nice shades of blue black and though I haven't tested it, I tell myself it makes them slightly more waterproof.

I find Iroshizuku inks to have water-resistant properties. Water drop tests are great for my needs, since I'm much more concerned about bleeding when I spill a drink (I also do bleach & hand sanitizer tests).

Oddly the middle of the "heart" never got wet.

Sorry about my sloppy picture taking/writing. Also the grammar in that last one :v:

Has anyone heard of using cotton gloves or something along those lines when they write? My hands get really sweaty and writing left handed it can brush the page causing major problems. I've tried writing right handed but I need to rest my hand on the paper and it gets sweat stains.

(In all seriousness, maybe try a really dry fine pen with one of the Noodler's Bulletproof inks; the dry line will dry very quickly, and the bulletproof-ness will keep your sweat from smearing the ink. Also, you can try holding the pen differently.)

The white glove has some merit. When you draw a lot, you know that the oils from your hand can ruin a picture. Not just what you have penciled or inked, but the paper itself can be tainted before you put any medium on the surface. I used to have a white glove with the tips cut off of the thumb, index and middle finger. (You often see Bob Cratchit from A Christmas Carol wearing these.) But now I just lay a piece of printer paper down to keep my hand off my work surface.

The reason I changed color mid-way is because I got tired of that Diplomat being a pain in the rear end. It seems air isn't getting into the converter, so it just sorta peters out. Also I had to use tinypic because imgur seems to hate me. :(

Also, iPhone autofocus is a bitch.

Yeah, get your friend a Metro. The Noodler's pens are too fiddly and the grips on the Safari are so polarising.

Sorry, my brain doesn't work so good...
I know some people who prefer Zebra Sarasa/etc gel pens to things like the Pilot G-2.

I have no idea why anyone would use a ballpoint when they can use something like a G2/etc. Ever.
