Why is MCRD where they make porn? I don't get it. Or is that just part of the air port block?

do people that kill people actually say "confirmed kills" because it just sounds so dumb like they've got some CSI dudes that match the bullet in the guy to the rifling of your gun or somethin

It's more of how certain you are that you killed someone. On that mission he also took a shot at a guy in a treeline and he dropped. They couldn't see the body so they couldn't tell for sure if the guy just took cover or if he was actually killed. It also usually denotes that you were the only person that engaged them rather than 5 or so guys shooting the same person. There's no scientific equation for it that I know of but usually witnesses and being able to identify the number of bodies are the main things. It's all still unofficial obviously, you're not gonna have your kills put on your DD214.

Just need to get more specific to keep that from happening. Put in melee range, CQB, small arms range, arty range, on the same continent as your target range, and then drone kills. You could also look at adding extra points for multikills and headshots.

Maybe 1st batt, I dunno, but they did dumb the test down a bit only a few years ago. I had to retake it in rip(2004), it was a bit harder than I thought it would be to sidestroke with boots, BDUs and a dummy rifle for 15 yards.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BD4oiBSXGDM Some 80's footage of a Harrier pilot that somehow loses radio contact with his ship, and running low on fuel, decides to land on a Spanish cargo freighter. The ship's Captain is having none of it however, and proceeds to his destination complete with pilot and precariously dangling harrier.

That's a hell of a story. http://www.airspacemag.com/military-aviation/Oldies__Oddities_.html quote:When the Alraigo, with the jet atop the containers, docked at Santa Cruz de Tenerife, a horde of reporters was on hand. The ship’s crew and owners filed a salvage claim and were awarded some £570,000 ($1.14 million at the time) as compensation for the “rescue.” When Watson returned to the Illustrious, a Board of Inquiry essentially did nothing. But when the Illustrious returned to port, Watson underwent a second Board of Inquiry. Gotta love maritime law.

He used an example of seeing someone walking around a few days before who had on a shirt that just said "Heavy loving Metal". "Don't be that loving guy" was our advice.
