There main issue it their Hip transport helicopter fleet being slowly worn down, as the opposition are using siege tactics on isolated military bases, and without regular supplies being brought in by helicopter these bases are hosed. I'd estimate around 25%-50% of their transport helicopter fleet is gone, and as there's probably no more than 120 in total every single one counts. Now the opposition has a lot of AA guns and MANPADS, so landing at these bases is extremely risky for pilots.

And I'm sure I could conceive of a scenario where the Air Wing would have to utilize JDAMs against a surface target, but there's a reason they train with Harpoons, and there's a reason why the SSN is the Navy's primary ASuW weapon.
