I haven't bothered reading any of the poo poo he posts for months because it's just kinda depressing. But now it's just him and his couple of "true fans" just going back and forth about SA. They all do group sex with animals, they're all insane and think normal is weird, they think child porn is normal, they just sit around watching animal porn and child porn all day so it's warped their minds. And so on and so on for a million posts. It's just really... sad. Well back to never reading that poo poo.

This whole thing is pretty sad to see, LB clearly needs help and I doubt he's going to get it. I'm still gonna follow this because TGT is a work of art, but I'm sure as hell going to miss to good days.

So wait, he's back again? And pulling the "if you disagreed with me you weren't a true fan, I've been manipulating you all along" puppetmaster card for what, the second or third time now? This poo poo's starting to get old. It's not even funny to watch anymore, I legitimately thing this guy has some real mental problems and needs to get help. Guess this is as far as I actively watch/wait for stuff, it was fun for a while. I hope the thread continues to churn out better material than the source though, it's been the only good thing about this thread so far.

Lazerbot, your not Glados, you can't just say this is an experiment and expect us to believe it. Causing a poo poo-storm over your comic is not a good idea, sure you get attention, but its the wrong kind of attention. Is he trying to become the Uwe Boll of webcomics or something? In all honesty though, Lazerbots "experiment" brought more info on him, then on his fans reactions. What bugs me most about this is the "true fan" comments. Does he not realize that just because someone likes something doesn't mean there not allowed to question/mock it? Do you have to accept Lazerbot as your lord and savior? Please let this just have been a phase.

I think we should just enjoy the comic and let LB just be LB. Why be bothered about anything he does? I'm sure we knew what we were getting into when this first started. I'm more concerned about watching Demaro die a painful death. Preferably one where blood pours out his mouth as he's trying to talk.

I don't know; now that the thread us split between a boring Dragonball Z fight between two Lazerbot originals and a comic about how furry Hitler came to terms with his anti-semitism, I can't get excited about Rob or Hindo anymore. Who would the jew slaiyers be, anyway? Ahmadinejad, Henry Ford, Jesus (as Teemo, who can't be killed), and... i don't know, Bobby Fisher?

These are all good suggestions for the (Jew King?). I will try to make it that far, but it will be hard. I did a quick scan of the comics up until that point and ran into a few problems. I wanted to continue the WW2 theme but really there are just so many characters I don't think it will be possible. I'm debating on what to do with Mario and Luigi or to just cut them out altogether - but if I cut them out that fucks up a lot of the comics and I'd have to do even more editing. drat you Lazerbot and your 1000 character comic strip.   (Also I'm retconning Patton to have 4 stars on his helmet, my bad)

Also, holy hell I haven't laughed as hard at the actual comic in a long time as I am at these German versions.

I think a bit of both really. Jazz-Flight hadn't made another TGT related in awhile before the freak-out, and LB seemed a bit impatient about it. At the same time, the Goon-works slowed to a halt - possibly due to the tedious fight going on (something similar that happened during the troll-king fight). LB also asked about the YouTube channel sometime during the drought as well. Personally, I stopped making stuff when the gay freak-out happened I couldn't really put my heart into it anymore. I only started up again when people were talking about making more fan-art for the thread. HGJ almost makes the whole travesty worthwhile. It's kind of funny, for a guy that hates Goons, he sure seems to have a lot of links to the audio-books, and goon fan-art. Despite the fact that a lot of the stuff was probably made for the thread in particular and not for him.

Both. On one hand, it's been more than a year now since the thread started. People are bound to lose interest eventually. It certainly hasn't helped that the comic's pacing is decent but not great, and that it goes on short hiatuses with no warning that can last for weeks. On the other hand, there are two possibilities for what I think LB's doing. One, he legit does have some problems and gets pissed at his fans, thinking that we're laughing at him and not with him. So he posts something to that effect but soon afterwards regrets it because he doesn't really want to drive everyone away/have people stop paying attention to him, so he pulls out his puppetmaster card. Two, he genuinely just has a weird obsession with how he believes his "true" fans should be, and is doing this poo poo on purpose to try and purge the fake ones, who he thinks are just laughing at him, out. Even if it's something else, people are slowly just deciding it isn't worth the time/effort to follow everything so intently anymore. The popularity of the thread in the beginning was mostly due to its shock value and the comic throwing all kinds of stuff at you. It kept you hooked by constantly having the weirdest poo poo happen, like just the idea of tails the fox getting bullied and shadow the hedgehog killing them, or the plan to kill all the trolls by having a fake concert and blowing it up, or elmer fud being a necromancer. I'd say the thread hit its peak when tails went to get trained with pac man and the other guys, and has pretty much been going downhill ever since. There's a point where the the surprises getting thrown at you stop lose their charm, and even if LB were to pull something out now I don't think it'd have the same impact as it might have had back then. And it really doesn't help that all that's happened in the last few months is us moving from a fight that dragged on for far too long between two original characters to us going to another fight that's dragging on between two original characters, with sporadic and infrequent updates spiced with the author being an idiot.

I have to say, I'm a bit baffled by all the people who are disappointed and heartbroken by what's happened here. I don't quite understand what you were looking for out of this kid. You came to this comic because it was hilarious to see Shadow the Hedgehog brutally murdering people, and stayed because it was weirdly creative and genuinely funny. What about that made you think that this guy would have a nuanced view of human sexuality and gay rights? Wasn't it obvious from the very start that Lazerbot was a seriously strange, possibly unbalanced dude, with a level of discourse and philosophical insight that was barely above "13 year old on X-Box Live"? None of what's resulted should be at all surprising or shocking. I guess I just don't see what you all expected. I mean, wasn't his immaturity, ignorance, and borderline unhinged personality part of the appeal of this in the first place? Asking him for sensitivity and understanding is a total misread of what is obviously an incredibly egotistical, wigged-out, odd kid who might not be very high-functioning in the real world. In other words, aren't his whacko breakdowns, bitterness at being called a homophobe, and claims to brilliant puppetmastery exactly what you wanted? I really never saw anything that said it would be anything else.

What's hard to understand? We genuinely liked the kid for a while, and hoped the best for him. When his pill was chill nobody had a bad word to say about LazyB. This stopped being a train wreck long ago, and we were just along for the ride. It's losing it's shine though, but there's still a chance of chiller pills prevailing.
