That's a RHD car, UK spec. They have the clutch master on the driver's side, but the brake master with the booster won't fit, so it stays on the other side controlled with a linkage. E30s are the same, here's a UK one:

If you know the cars, you can poke the linkage with your foot while sitting in the passenger seat to irritate the driver.

I think that might be a linking mistake. Sure looks like one, because clicking on the first image in his post brings up said naked chick instead of the larger version of the same pic that one would expect.

For once the guy who owns that horrible bro-truck I posted in the horrible thread is doing something awesome at his shop:

I scoured the image I posted for a hidden naked chick, by the way. What the gently caress, imgur? I did nothing other than mspaint a couple of circles.
I removed it entirely because gently caress that jazz.

Thanks for clearing up the RHD issue. That makes more sense, but now I want to gently caress with somebody's brakes some day.

Hi, so if you read the post your own car thread you'll have seen this mentioned:

Racewars is an event that was put on by Antilag Motorsport in Western Australia over two days last weekend. We had a 1.5km runway on which we had rolling 400 and 800m, and standing 400 and 1000m drag races. It was fun. There were some cool cars:

I wish I could just post every single one of the 150+ cars that competed, if you didn't get excited by at least one of the cars there you plain don't like cars. There were so many amazing cars there with amazing horsepower figures to match. The supercars were being beaten by all sorts of dodgy 90's ricers. Perhaps the best part was that you could take passengers along for the ride. I went for a spin in this, among other things, and it certainly made me reassess what 'quick' means:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YhJNhOYyqhI
On that run, with average tires on a slippery surface it logged a 0-100kph of 3.3 seconds...

It's worth checking out the flickr pages of the people I posted for many more cars. I may post more myself as the media people there get around to putting their photos up. (Credit and thanks to the photographers who have been great putting their photos up.)

Edit to add - The MP4-12C just beat the Aventador by the end

Then this plane beat the Mclaren.

Edit 2 - Can't believe I forgot the video of the Mclaren vs. Lamborghini

I think I saw this at a car show when I was like 10-11 years old. If I remember correctly it had two cameras in the front and a primitive sort of adaptive cruise control / autopilot which could (in theory) follow the painted lines on the road and keep distance to vehicles in front. The system could also lock on to a car in front and follow it automatically.

I'd think that something like that could be much more workable, if the side hatch opened upward (hinges will just get fouled with mud/dirt from your work boots or broken off) and the fuel cap were accessible without opening the side hatch.

This is a rolls my dad owned in the 80s. The story goes that he was the right hand man for a home developer who was trying to get into Savings and Loans before the scandal broke. He owned the rolls, but his kids destroyed it by drawing everywhere with crayons and spilling food etc...My dad bought it on the cheap, replaced/cleaned the interior and sold it at auction, after driving it around Los Gatos, CA as a guy in his 20s driving a Rolls Royce with gold wire wheels and a NO RULES plates to bars and such. He said he made a decent profit at auction.
