I sort of imagine no anime would be good for grandparents. They would be like "Why is everyone shouting, are these supposed to be normal people or bug people, what's a Goku?" One time, when I was twelve, I showed my grandmother the music video for "Dare to Be Stupid" by "Weird Al" Yankovic and she got so mad that it was giving kids bad advice that a whole room of relatives had to calm her down. Experiences like that are why it seems, to me, like anime would just not work for grandparents because sure, "Weird Al" is pretty hosed up, but not nearly as hosed up as Anime.

This happened to me, but the relative was my mom and the song was "Like a Surgeon" because of the song it was a parody of. Ironically I am gay now and love Madonna so whatever she hoped to teach me by dissing that song didn't work. Good thing I didn't let her listen to "Jerry Springer." Why can't parents just like "Weird Al" is what I'm saying.

This topic has made me sad that I'll never get to know my grandfather on my mom's side. He was a pretty cool dude who loved good comedies and musicals. Unfortunately, he also didn't believe in doctors. My grandfather on my dad's side is just pretty racist, and has become too large to do anything at all without my grandmother's help. She's a super-grandma who could wallpaper, decorate a cake, make infinity pirogi, and run a beauty salon out of her house in her hayday. I think my dead grandpa would have loved a cowboy bebop.

It probably is; that side of the family is very Slavic in origin, so I am told. Also, it is a beautiful super-power, because her pierogi kick all kind of serious rear end. EDIT: Something of note, this is my favorite whatever of the day, because this topic always comes back to fast food anyway: science has finally allowed us to purchase air-dropped burritos any time of any day. The best grandpa anime would be Grave of the Fireflies because it would remind him of that great time he and the boys had giving Tojo what for while defending America in WWII.bunnybean posted:Great now we've moved on to food and anime. They will also slobber over everything. Imagine a giant retard strong pug, if you will.

That's exactly what a boxer is. There's a family with a boxer living below my music teacher's apartment (who knows how they have the space; those flats are tiny) who used to jump on me and spread his slobber everywhere whenever he saw me. It's not because he liked me specifically though. That's just how he said hello

I don't care about how much I can lift or looking like a wad of veins and puff. I just want to pass time, be in good general health, and increase my overall ability to exert physical effort over a prolonged period. Aside from the obvious fact that it's a facetious summary of my endurance goal, ducks are rape crazy and who WOULDN'T want to be able to defend themselves against potential duckrape? How do you not get that; are you dense or do you simply enjoy the idea of being an unwilling participant in waterfoul sexual activities?
