It really is a brilliant pun. On one hand, yeah, we get it. Diddy's Conquest, haha. But it also refers to the coming of age tale Diddy undergoes in order to become more like his idol - Donkey Kong - in the course of saving him. Terrific on all levels.

I would do anything to have all of the old Windows 95 games on this computer... Taipei, Tripeaks, Chip's Challenge, Pipe Dream... I could live without Rodent's Revenge though, gently caress that game.

It surprises me how few decent ripoffs of Chip's Challenge there are. There's a market for good puzzle games, otherwise I couldn't play Spacechem or Fuusio or a myriad of board games on my ipad. And Chip's Challenge is such a basic formula, and a lot of games have similar puzzles to it without it being the game itself. There was one I liked called Netshift, by the guy who made the old "hapland" flash games if you remember those, but it has disappeared from the internet forever. Shame. E: Also getting windows 95 games working is possible if you get a windows 95 cd and the game cds off ebay and set up a virtualmachine for it with a little space. Some of them don't even need that. The Microsoft puzzle entertainment pack works on windows 7, though it's mostly kind of stupid Hemingway To Go! has a new favorite as of 04:01 on Apr 23, 2013 |
