God dammit why don't modern cars look like this. This is 2013. It's the goddamn future. How the hell did Saab end up making better futuristic-looking cars than the actual loving future did?

So I went to the Shanghai International Auto Exhibition on Sunday. Some observations:

1. I still keep getting amazed how many people there actually are in China. The pavilion housing Porsche/Ferrari/Bugatti/etc was by far the worst I've experienced yet
2. Chinese people will shout at you if you push them away when they are crushing you
3. Chinese men will absolutely go crazy for any car where a model is present, even if it's a Chinese knock-off of a 10 year old Citroen, and will photograph the poo poo out of the model/car
4. Chinese cars are making good progress, well at least some are.
5. The LaFerrari has less visual impact than I thought
6. No Pagani made me disappointed
7. I miss NYIAS

I know my pictures are bad, but it was the best I could do under the circumstances.

Google image search a car you're particularly fond of that hasn't shown up much in here, you're likely to find something worthy of the thread to include with your textual response.

Or, if you're me, you find some images from that certain racing series you should all be watching:

I'd say 650hp and 170MPH on city streets counts as AI.

Don't have a lot of info, sounds like speed was a factor and something about the traffic light changed. I do have more pictures, though. It's rightly hosed. And it's awesome because I didn't know that Lamborghinis had emergency roll protection like that.

Not only is it a turbocharged redblock, but it's a turbocharged 16-valve DOHC redblock, a B234FT. The B234F with no turbo made around 160 hp. That Porsche must be fun as hell.
