NG giving a ride to cops? I guess I'd rather be in that M1151 instead of a cop car in dealing with the bomber dudes.

IIRC the dude chillin' with the beard and shades was a Navy UDT/EOD/speshul forces type who had to set up some poo poo (dummy explosives or something) prior to the Marines landing for their exercise, he decided to hang out and catch some rays.

ded posted:Why did they have to put yakity sax on it over good audio. Hey Brown Moses.. I know you focus most of your stuff on weapons videos from Syria.. but How many videos do you find that are from Syria that have one smart guy showing how do do things like Make Lead Picrate for initiators and poo poo? I've seen surprisingly effective, if crude, videos of haji doing backyard organic and inorganic chemistry to make various explosives-- especially in the Iraq days, those video's were everywhere.. Is this happening again with the Syria Conflict? The vast majority of video's I'd find in the Iraq days were less on the homegrown chemistry of how to do stuff and more on the how to engineer an actual bomb side assuming you had obtained something you could detonate anyway. Like, is there a Syrian version of Mr. Wizard showing how to make various compounds and poo poo? Like, I watched this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tOToe6W8c4k video this morning and I didn't think too much about it-- this dude had refined some relatively pure Lead Picrate heaps (And was messing with it using a loving metal spoon from what looks like a metal plate ) and lgniting them with a smoldering piece of wood. Then I stopped and listened to the audio and realized he's in some pretty busy urban area, and the username on that thing doesn't give me a warm fuzzy feeling about this guy. (abuzubairalmasri) So this guy is somewhere in the middle east in a busy urban area, just working with some extremely volatile initiating explosives like it ain't no thing. This stuff isn't a joke, we weren't allowed to make more than 10-20mg of this stuff at a time because literally anything can set it off- and this old dudes got himself a few grams of powder just chilling. Blows my motherfucking mind. Anyway, I ask because the knowledge of how to make a lot of different high energy explosives is really pretty basic chemistry and the knowledge obviously has spread throughout the world, particularly throughout terrorist organizations and poo poo. I'm wondering if the bevy of how to videos and various video guides on "generally being a hajj or engaging in hajjiry and hajji related activities" have gotten better / scarier in the new age of social media and video everywhere and Syria and poo poo, than say where it was back in the day. Christ this post probably tripped some keyword searches somewhere in the world. Also anyone know if this "Syria has used chemical weapons in the conflict" stuff out of Israel is true or bullshit? Bc I automatically don't believe anything the Israelis say about.. well, much of anything.
