Yeah, I love it. I still think Cerulean is better, but this one comes in a close second. I posted a thread about it like a month ago when it first leaked and kept updating it when the album was available to stream on Pitchfork Advance a week or so ago and today when the album was officially released, but barely anyone's posting in it Either no one here listens to Baths or no one has heard the new album yet.

Who picked up the classixx album Hanging Gardens? I'm really, really digging it. All you waiting for is a good song, and I'm sorry LCD sound system fans (>>>>this guy<<<<), but nancy whang voice is very flat for this kind of disco track . I've loved her in other things tho.

No real surprises with the full album, however I did see quite a bit of it live. It's definitely not the album of the year but yeah, Disclosure makes some pretty mediocre-to-good house tracks that are pretty radio friendly. I guess I don't understand the controversy surrounding them.

I'm not sure if this should be in the UK bass thread or here, but I just discovered the Moveltraxx label. Crazy good music, a bit of bass music, trap, juke, footwork, house, all with a bit of a french touch. Stuff like this: Attack Yourself! - Half Cab (BIG DOPE P Remix) NUMERO 6 & LAZY FLOW - Swedo FUNKYSTEPZ - Amsterdam, Girls Go Wild EZEKIEL - Mota feat. KAi Sky-Walker Lazy Flow - Bahia The radio program they do is pretty cool as well.

So far my favourites are Celebrate, Surround Sound and Old Flavours. I kinda wish that this album wouldn't be so electronic 'cause I loved their guitar tracks on Walking on a Dream, but it's still pretty great. edit: also it's realllly loving cheesy, but hey, it's Empire of the Sun so I probably shouldn't be surprised. There's a lot of groups out there putting out stuff like this, and I like it in theory, but - and there are a few exceptions - it just never seems to evolve out of that amateurish feel (the lyric treatment in particular). It makes me sad because this could sound a whole lot better in more professional hands.
