Everyone knows that if a hatted-Touhou lost her hat she would die. It contains all her vital life-functions, much like the cephalon of a squid, cuttlefish, or octopus. Including the very important danmaku-excretion organ.

Question: Is Sakuya capable of time travel? If so, is it both backwards and forwards, or just one of the two? Or does she only produce temporal stasis? Is her stasis effect universal, or is it restricted to a localized temporal distortion?

Her exhibited ability is to arbitrarily increase or decrease the relative flow of time for herself, other people, and objects. This is functionally equivalent to forward time travel, as she could go sit in a room and slow her own time while the outside world continues on. The ability appears to be more magical than scientific; for example, she can apply sixty years of time to a single plant so it would bloom, and the plant did not run out of water/sunlight and die. The spell effect of "dimming" the viewport may indicate that she receives less light when moving faster than standard time.

According to the wiki her PMISS profile says she has the ability to reverse time but is unable to violate causality, which would strongly limit what she could do with time-reversal.

When used for "stasis" the effect appears to be global, because there's been no mention of temporal anomalies involving the SDM. If the effect were local, then spending a day in the SDM while Sakuya cleans might cause a week to pass outside. Alternatively the effect could be local to just Gensokyo, but that would mean Gensokyo has a separate timeline from the outside world, and there's evidence against that (the moon landings, Cirno's flower-dating in PoFV).

When used to manipulate space, her ability can be used to enclose large volumes within small volumes ("it's bigger on the inside"). This is used mostly to hold large amounts of small objects (knives, cleaning equipment) on her person.

See I was thinking it'd be fun to draw a short story comic involving time travel and paradoxes that'd wind up with about 4 copies of Sakuya coexisting at once-- the "present Sakuya", one from the future, one from the past, and one from the future-Sakuya's past that is still in the future for the present Sakuya.

One of her skills cards in Soku is "Time Paradox" where she sends forward a time clone to hit the enemy with a dash attack. One of her spellcards in IN is "Deflation World" where she summons the past and future of all her knives into the present. And don't get me started on "Imaginary Vertical Time". So, do whatever you like.

So it seems that although she herself cannot travel back into the past to change it, she can summon stuff from the past and the future into the present? Instead of you going to the past, you bring the past to you? What if she tried summoning herself?

That seems like a perfect opportunity for Sakuya to abuse the time-space continuum to summon some coins in the future to pay for stuff now or even create some extra cake for the little sister.

And the idea of Sakuya killing herself over menu choices is both hilarious and abuses her power for pointlessly mundane reasons. So the norm for the Gensoukyo. I can only imagine what would happen if Sakuya had to choose Pizza toppings.

She apparantly can affect the past to "return things to where they should be" according to the touhou wiki, obviously the most practical and most seen application for this is with her knives.

Wild and Horned Hermit comes out every other month on the 10th (delayed about a week this month) and Forbidden Scrollery comes out every month on the 26th.

You should find it shocking though, since WaHH used to be almost a year behind, and I believe it took about 6 months for the final chapter of Oriental Sacred Place to get translated. Despite the Touhou Reputation, historically the official manga series have been relatively neglected.
