I actually kind of thought of this when I saw Code Orange Kids and all 3 dudes had their shirts off but the chick had to stay clothed. :shobon:

Speaking of them, could anybody recommend similar bands to Code Orange Kids? I'm sorta weening myself into hardcore through a more sludgy direction because I never really listened to a lot of punk.

The guy from Blood for Blood raped a kid. But seriously, I'm not from Boston, but I know that they've basically made moshing illegal. Plus FSU kind of got out of hand and eventually got labeled as a gang some places. Luckily, tough guy bullshit isn't as popular as it used to be...or maybe I'm just good at ignoring it.

It does suck that women can't feel safe being topless in public because society decided that a topless woman = sexual. But raging against a guy for taking his shirt off is the exact opposite of a solution to that problem.

I dunno if this is a joke or not, but I'm from Boston. There was a big "omg moshing is illegal now!!" thing like a year ago but I haven't seen anything changed/enforced at shows.

It was half joking. I'm sure most punk/hardcore shows still have it, but I'd heard stories of the Middle East enforcing it.

How Celeste sounds like screamo kids playing black metal, Death Engine sounds like screamo kids playing noise rock. Comparisons to Playing Enemy and Breach are not far off.

The 10" is out now. The tape is up for pre-order and will be out in August.

Final lineup announcements for Fluff were this week, with a bunch of crazy good bands announced for the secondary stage, under a dinky tent that holds about two hundred people. Coke Bust, Violent Reaction, Sectarian Violence, Full of Hell and others. Gonna be sick.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTuXDl5nqvg

They also announced a queer party for Friday night featuring these guys. Straightedge hardcore all day and electroscum (?) all night~

They play whatever music they want man. Their tour last fall had a full traditional 4 piece rock set and they just crushed every song they did. Knife Man & Can't Maintain have a good mix of your normal rock instrumentation and the low fi acoustic and stand up bass.

They have a new thing coming out sometime between now and next year.

Daydreamnation is one of my favorite punk records, but I totally agree. The newest 7"s did nothing for me and I think it's for the best that they call it quits.

On the other hand they killed it live last time I saw them, even with the rotating line up.
