What happens in 3rd Street stays in 3rd Street.

I can only hope Love Games features a special appearance from Old Gregg.

I remember reading something about one of the episodes being an hour long or something? Or did I imagine that?

Man, this season sure has a lot of dungeons. A mystery dungeon, a bone dungeon, and now a train dungeon!

Yeah they were planning on having an hour-long season finale for 5, but then they decided to push it back and season 6 got turned into season 5b

Dungeon Train: Part 3 of the Mystery Dungeon/Mystery Train/Dungeon Train trilogy, hopefully featuring The Train

Would love to see this on Cartoon Network next to Adventure time. I feel that they'd go well together, almost as well as AT and Regular show. It'd be better then that Uncle Grandpa stuff that is about to come down the pipe. The previews they have for that look horrible...

That or Cartoon Networks advertising campaigns once again failing horribly and the show might actually be good... :iiam:

Never ever trust CN's advertisements. They are all, without exception, terrible. Even the ones for a show as great as Adventure Time. They alone almost stopped me from getting into this show, and for that they have earned my eternal hatred.

I don't believe that Cartoon Hangover is trying to be a stepping stone to TV, from what I know, but instead building a digital network of their own content. Bee and Puppycat was one of many pilots that aired, so be sure to subscribe to the channel and like the video because those metrics speak the best to Youtube networks.

The same can be said of me. The original promos for Adventure Time made it look terrible, but I decided to watch it anyway, just to see, and it was amazing. The same happened with Flapjack. I refused to watch it for a long time because the commercials made it look stupid, but once I gave it a chance I loved it.

However, the ads have been quite accurate for all of their live action shows. They looked awful, and they were awful. I feel bad for whoever's pet project their live action block was. It failed spectacularly.

I've seen fun you people wouldn't believe.
Tiki torches on fire off the summit of Kilauea.
I watched disco balls glitter in the dark near the Brandenburg Gate.
All those moments will be lost in time, like crowds in rain.

Time to sleep.

The only ads I like are the Regular Show ads because they always just present some super mundane thing that happens like in the first couple of minutes and usually nothing from the main plot. Although frequently that mundane thing is a catalyst for the crazy crap, but yeah, at first I thought it was a very boring slice of life cartoon, so I guess it's bad for first impressions still. Now it seems like a part of the humor.

I for one do not feel one iota of sympathy or sadness for whoever decided that the CN Real block of shows were a good idea. That so called pet project cost Cartoon Network Lauren Faust, Craig McCracken, and Gendy Tartakovsky. :colbert:

I truly don't believe the people running Cartoon Network have watched Adventure Time in the past three seasons. Their ads are like if Videodrome was marketed as a romantic comedy just because they knew James Woods had a woman telling him to do stuff.

And yeah, they suck on top of that.

I remember seeing the first promos for Incredible Crew around November/December and when I saw that they had a kid cast exclusively to scream, I knew I was gonna hate that show. They did do good on releasing and airing the Errands With My Mom music video early, since that was one of the few good sketches during the show's run. The music videos in general they had were at least catchy, I can say that much.

I wonder if they'll go the Office UK route and have Finn gently caress things up even more.

MindTheGap

It would be fairly glorious if they decided to gradually, piece-by-piece, turn "Adventure Time" into a squirm comedy. I'd love to see Finn right his wrongs with Flame Princess, but part of me thinks there would be something even more rewarding about him loving up even worse with her, teenage boy-style.
By the way, since you brought up an "Office" reference... For a few weeks now, I've been noticing that Ice King is suddenly echoing Michael Scott almost note for note. They're both lonely, woefully inappropriate when confronted with a member of the opposite sex, and there are these pitiful glimpses into a truly depressing backstory that at once explains and summarily forgives what a socially inept loser the character turned out to be.
Cinnamon Bun is... Kevin. I wish it weren't so, but search your heart. You know it to be true.

Little brothers put Jakesuit on again, and man, FP and Finn are awesome together. That and things like Vault of Bones have me really hoping FP doesn't become a villain (besides the other stuff I've written before); when they're doing more than just having her there for the benefit of Finn she's great.

Same here. I'm pretty worried about where they're going to take her character with the upcoming episode, because I honestly have no idea. But this isn't the season finale or anything, so I doubt it will be anything drastic.

I'll be honest. I'll be a disappointed if Finn and FP are broken up for good because of a single mistake. Granted, it was a huge mistake, but they also had a lot of good moments together, and I don't think a single mistake should ruin the entire relationship.

Then again, I suppose it would coincide pretty well with how fragile young relationships are in real life.
