Tomorrow, doom!
But now, tea.
This looks like a demented modern update of Micro Machines with added Gundams.

What a magnificent idea! Shame it didn't sell, by the sounds of it.

Good to see you back Rush. How do you plan to do late game stuff? I really like your use of every match as a way to show off Borgs but I feel like you would run out before the end.

Depends on what you mean by late game stuff. I think there's enough Borgs to last the whole story, but if I do run out I'll probably just pick random Borgs for the remaining matches.

Welcome back.

The Ultimate Cannon is indeed sort of vulnerable and unplayable, but it does have one neat application: Since power bursts all-but disappear charge-up and reload times, if you budget to have it ready when your Cannon arrives you can fire one superbeam after another and blow through drat-near the rest of the battle before you run out of meter.

Oh my god, that actually works! It's a great way to k.o. every non flying Borg on the field, too bad Pop Honey will most likely be caught in the spinning blast. Although now I want to practice with someone at getting out of the way so we can do more than one.

This is the last Air Borg that didn't get featured in Episode 5. If there's no votes by the time I record the next video (Sept. 2nd at the earliest), I'll just pick one of the previous tribes that weren't fully displayed, either Ninja, Machine, or Girl.

Knight borgs rule.

NAME REDACTED

I'm okay with having Knight Borgs immediately after Air borgs, mostly because in terms of strengths and weaknesses they are almost as close to exact opposites as the tribes get.

I really get the feeling that Gotcha Borgs was meant to originally be adapted into an anime, or be released in chapters rather than all at once, because there are some really obvious "Here's a climax" points that occur at similar intervals throughout, followed by a sudden drop in threat, and the slow escalation of overall threat and increasing borg size really feels like the sort of thing you'd see in a tv show. I have no idea whether that's actually the case or what, though.

Also, the second Arena Watch, featuring Kakeru's Garden.

From what I've found, there was a short-lived manga series in Japan, though I believe it was released after the game.

I've seen that said before, but it didn't work when I tested it. Even if there is some special command to survive destruction attacks, Roach is still slow, weak, and fragile with a terrible weapon. Even Death Eye at least has projectiles.

To be fair the only Wing borg I tend to use are the Dark Forces ones and Wing Solder. They are only good when you press X to fly then unload the full ammo clip. It's just allows you to perform a perfect circle strafing strategy. Once you got that "super" meter full it will then allow you to continually X fly and unload endless amount of ammo. Long as you understand that they are not that bad. However they are limited to this one trick.

Overall I will say that even the useless borgs could be much better in the hands of a different player. We know that a lot of borgs are just useless but if they were made to combo with an other one maybe that would change. However no one really that crazy to get that good at the game. Still I find that sometimes if you think completely different a bad borg can become something useful.

Seconding the vote for Knuckle borgs, because they've always seemed way too gimmicky for me to be able to use them properly. Don't talk poo poo 'bout wing borgs, son, I get routinely wrecked by my friend when we play multiplayer and he uses them. Even Death Borg Sigma has caused more than a few borg losses. At least with Ninjas you only have to deal with two dimensions most of the time...

To specify on what was said in the video, when Demon samurai and Akuma and Beam samurai as well get stronger, their blades get longer and pass through obstacles. If you aren't paying attention during a match, you can easily end up getting multi-slashed from across the arena and under a ceiling. It's very rarely a huge problem, because they're unlikely to actually hit you much from that range, but it can take you by surprise, especially with the larger borg types.

Vampire knight is pretty awesome. I lucked out and got a gold vampire knight pretty early, and combined with Manna's teams for allies, he could smash through most non-tuff stuff levels through to the middle of the game on his own. Especially the dragons.

Spike knight, on the other hand, is in my opinion the worst knight borg. He doesn't feel as tough as most of the other knights did by the time you get him, and the fact his main attack is completely helpless against any enemies with any sort of range or flight/speed capacity makes him mostly just a liability in my books.

I vaguely remember that for the special attacks of Elemental and Ghost knight, with the throwing swords, there is a special thing - the hitbox doesn't vanish, it's just moved to the sword. It's not really useful to note, but it might mean you can get an extra few hits in, or hit with a special attack like the ultimate cannon's.

Imperial Knight has an infinite combo - B B X X. Useful for stunlocking an enemy, but not much else really.
