Started golfing yesterday and have played maybe ten games so far. Got -4 twice as my personal record, usually hover between par and -2. Is that actually good or will I be beaten easily by the more serious golfers? Also, putting loving blows. So many perfect hits that stop just before the hole.

Best I've done is 6 under, which I think a few other goons have echoed. Switch to power shot for putting and aim in front of the hole by 6-12 inches.

You mean a long put? And I can't decide how far I aim the shots, the game does that for me when I decide on what put to use. Or do you mean using one of the other clubs at the green?

What's the deal with other people being able to access personal vehicles? I've tried to get in other people's personal vehicles before and it wouldn't let me, and a message would pop up saying something like "This is ___________'s personal vehicle and you can't enter it, you fucker!" But I just got a motorbike, put a tracker on it and got full coverage on it and modded it a little, then some pubbie rear end in a top hat murdered me right outside of Los Santos Customs and stole my bike. I had to chase him down to get it back. How was he able to do that?

Hold select/back and change the option near the bottom for vehicle access. Got my custom emblem working after trial and error!

You can select the permission of who is able to drive your car from there(as well as other things). I do wish there was a friends / crew / people currently doing this mission with me option. I don't want pubbies to drive my car, but people in missions have never hosed with it. edit: or what Lunethex said.

The L1 (or LB on 360) changes the shot in terms of power. You can change any shot to the strongest one and then just pull it back by aiming. The only other major thing I've learned is don't ever, ever use a sand wedge. You can chip out of bunkers with a 7 iron with no loss of accuracy or power, it's just like any other shot.

 Saw a goon in a tricked out Z Type, so I had to quickly grab mine. We even had the same horn. Then a few hours later I got classified as a bad sport for the fourth time, except this time restarting the xbox didn't save me.  I discovered that pubbies in the bad sports server are even more likely to get pissy when you destroy their car, and apparently you don't get dinged with bad sports for doing it in bad sport hell. Is there any trick to finding a car you want/need? The online mode suffers 1000% more from the "only 3 types of cars spawn at a time" thing than single player.

If you managed to get your hands on an Adder, the car with the fastest top speed in the game, then mod it to fill up its acceleration speed bar, you'd have a force to be reckoned with. How does the magical Sandy Shores convenience store work with survival? I figured out how to get into the roof easily enough, but every time I go there after kicking off the survival in town it gives me the out of bounds warning countdown and fails. Did they patch it already?

Are there different maps? There are couple areas that I have noticed that aren't there when I go to look for them. Also, the entrance to my garage is different. And car spawns are completely different.

Go into rally race. Didn't know about arrows from D-pad, though I have a mic. Idiot driver apparently doesn't have a head set or sound going speakers. Easy airport race, everyone by now knows where the points are. Misses one on the points around the C section of the race. Told him 3 times to turn around, doesn't listen because of reasons stated. Idiot just stops and stands there and quits a minute later. Why join the such a race if you don't have a head set or mic sounds to speakers....

So, I was doing a few missions with some goons and dropped out into a session with some pubbies. One of these wouldn't shut the gently caress up, and we kept making fun of him. Especially because had a bounty set my an NPC and was certain it was one of "us bitches" and he was going to "roll" on us when he found out who it was. He said he wanted to "come see me" and that his "boy" was coming with. I called Pegasus, picked up my Rhino, and had all the Goons in session watch me on TV. I blew the gently caress out of him and his boy. Unfortunately for me, both were in personal cars, and that on top of earlier antics, put me into bad sport hell.
