As a made for TV film you'd think it'd be crappy, but it was directed by Tobe Hooper (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Poltergeist), and while some of it is merely so-so, a lot of it is really great. It's got a really good cast (maybe excluding David Soul) and some spectacularly spooky scenes. That top one is easily my favorite vampire movie scene ever. Here's another.
