During the discussion, the virgin reader says this most amazing thing. When discussing what might happen when they try to kill the other two dragons, he says: "Well, the book isn't going to have a boring ending where he's like "Daenerys is taking a bath right now so she can't show up for the battle." And then he's completely incredulous that she won't come back to Meereen before the end. When I first heard this, I thought he said "bathroom" and laughed out loud. Still, poor guy still has hope.

Keep in mind he already has like 6 or so chapters he'd already written before ADWD came out, so.. maybe he's written 5 chapters the last 2 years? Who knows. We all know he'll die beforehand anyway, whether from food or the stress.

Stannis will break every rule he cares so much about to become king. He's already cheated on his wife, he's a kinslayer, and he violated what's basically a 5,000 year old treaty with the night's watch. He can resent Bob all he wants, but his brother only did one of those things.

Hoping that in the next year or so, Mr. Tolkien will announce that there is just too much material and the series must needs eight loving doorstoppers for the story to be told. I play cello for the danceband on the GRRMtanic and would like this party to last as long as possible.
