I'm thinking per-episode threads are a good idea if we're going to get 20+ pages per episode.

I just watched 1-2. Man it's been a while, I didn't even finish season 4. I wasn't super spergy about it being terrible I just lost interest. Looks promising but I feel like it's a slow running start. It might be because they were cramming so much in a single episode, I mean you got Mike The loving Cleaner who's great and the Nicholas Cage stuff which is interesting but it feels kinda wanting at the end. A good problem to have but yeah hopefully they get their pace down again.

The tag? I thought it was funny as hell. It was also a good way to show that Buzz isn't simply Mike+Ron Swanson or something like that, and Jonathan Banks really nailed it.

Pretty much nothing after that. Hickey finished his first phone call and then got on the phone with his mother, thus leaving Troy and Abed stuck in the room. That was one of the segments that really sold me on Banks being able to work well within the show's sense of humor.

Specifically, Banks got on the phone again so Troy froze again, and Banks proceeded to tell a family member they weren't going to be able to afford to bury dad with the rest of the family. Troy remained still with a great look of shock on his face and a single tear rolled down his cheek.

There is a lot more story to mined by taking Troy away from Abed and not replacing him than just introducing a new-Troy; however its probably gonna be Brie Larson.

I never really understood what people thought was so great about her character in season 4. It's not that she did a bad job or anything, it's just that I found her character (as well as the subplot she was part of) kind of bland and uninteresting.

She's easily been the worst part of everything I've seen her in. Totally bland. One of the goons around here loving loves her though - I remember him going googly eyed when she first showed up in the episode so maybe he will pop up and explain her allure to us.

She sang well in Scott Pilgrim. I liked her character but it didn't have that much depth anyway.

I think her character in season 4 was just sorta cute and likeable at a time where nothing else in the show was really worth paying any attention to. I'm fine with her returning.

Alright guys, here's the deal: Short Term 12, one of the best movies of the year, comes out on bluray in a week. Y'all should go watch that because it's a fantastic loving movie, and then you will get why Brie Larson is awesome.

She's also p good in The League and United States of Tara, but seriously, Short Term 12. And if you liked that, she's also in Don Jon and The Spectacular Now, which are out now/coming out next week as well, respectively.

Also, she was a nice changeup for the show because it was a chance to explore something that really hadn't ever been explored, save a couple of b-plots in a few episodes in the first couple of seasons; Abed and romance. That's a well they left underexplored, which means it was nice when they actually went for it, and (unlike most other things last season) didn't bungle it up.
