Even if they don't wish to buy their own freedom, they likely have relatives that could use the money.) The pottery slaves and household slaves don't need a wage, nor do they even need to know about it, because they are doing conventional work of the sort any debt slave would expect to do. Digging clay is dirty work, but the potter is an easy master and the hours are fairly light. Compared to many other manual labour slaves they have it pretty good. Buy a replacement slave for the potter. Make sure we don't get a lemon this time. 4. P. Why would we give the slave to Paebel and have him free it? Our intention will be clear. Just don't be a coward, free the slave. I know I harp on the slavery thing, but freeing this slave because he seems more upset about being a slave than other slaves just...boggles me. I don't get it.
