Pretty cool. The kind of music Air might make if they didn't suck

Also here is Dynatron's album from late last year. I absolutely love it. Support them if you can (http://aphasiarecords.bandcamp.com/album/escape-velocity)

I want to like Electric Youth, maybe if she sings with a bit more passion. Put a bit more oomph into the passages that are not supposed to sound sultry. Right now I get bored before the song ends.

Yeah, I get the sense that they are still finding their sound because they've only released a few mixtapes and ep's, but I think they've got potential to be something unique.

Their first full length album comes out this year and I'm hoping it will be a little more cohesive. The single they've released definitely seems more polished and produced than some of their previous stuff.

Ladies remember when you dated men and not some starving peasant constantly brushing your good looks and ego with compliments? Remember when every so often there was a super macho grande movie in theaters that made you wish you’d gone with your guy friends to see it with a bottle of your favorite drink and some smuggled in food from outside? Remember when chicks like these flicks too?

Who knows maybe that was written in a deliberately macho, over the top way to reflect the tone of the movie.

maybe?

Also I've seen it and it is incredible.

Also thanks to this thread for introducing me to Dance with the Dead. I've been listening to Robeast constantly.

Live by the pun - Die by the pun

Over the Top is a great movie, and my young self also started to do one-armed pseudo pull-ups after seeing it. And the thing with Sly's cap persists as a saying in my circle of friends to this very day. The article is kinda lame though and probably not meant to be taken too serious, judging by that little bit about the author at the end.

It's been mentioned before, but Miami Nights 1984 is another decent artist that you shouldn't miss up:

Also, on Lazerhawk's music, I think the singing in some of them really throws them off (Mainly Dream Machine), I think they'd be better as instrumentals.

I agree. I think their album Visitors was all instrumental aside from audio samples of people talking. One of my favourite albums of the last couple of years.
